Skillet Creek Campground Reviews
We had an absolutely amazing stay at Skillet Creek Campground! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The bathrooms and showers were spotless, which is always a huge plus when camping. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. The grounds are gorgeous—lush, peaceful, and clearly cared for with pride. My son had a blast at the playground and spent hours splashing around in the swimming pond, which was the perfect spot to cool off on a warm day. We also loved relaxing by the fishing pond and exploring the creek that flows through camp, too.One unexpected bonus was the game room, which had a fun mix of activities and also included laundry facilities—a total lifesaver during longer stays! Very nice for families!Whether you're camping with family or looking for a quiet weekend in nature, Skillet Creek is a gem. We can't wait to come back!
Jul 03, 2025 · Paige FunfsinnWe've been going to a different RV park in the dells area every year and this is by far the best we've been too. We'll likely keep coming here from now on. The showers are so clean and nice. The pond is the perfect size and very fun. We really enjoyed the four square volleyball. The RV site was grassy and spacious. We only wish we would have scheduled more time in our trip to just hang out at the RV park. Thank you!
Jul 03, 2025 · Jeri GradeckiJust spent Memorial Day weekend at one of the cabin rentals at Skillet Creek with my son and grandchildren. It was so much fun and there was a lot to keep the grandkids busy. They loved the bounce pad, the playground, beach area & slide and light parade. The campground is clean and welcoming. The cabins were comfortable, clean and gave us everything we needed. I was a seasonal camper for many years and the new owners have put in so much work and activities for children and are very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be coming back soon.
May 27, 2025 · Barb ZiemerWe camped here for the Circus Parade and would definitely return. Bathrooms and shower facilities were great. The staff were very helpful. The camp cats were a nice touch, too! The only frustrating thing was the wait we sometimes had at the one-lane bridge to our section of the campground, but if that's the worst part of the experience, they still get 5 stars!
Jun 30, 2025 · Ruth LashThe new owners take pride in their facilities, and it really shows. The shower house/restrooms are always clean, and the location near Devil's Lake makes it great to camp while not being IN the state park. Minutes from Baraboo, it's a great spot if you're looking to camp and get away.If you forget something, the camp store has a great selection of camping accessories - both for tenting and RV/Towables. Additionally, the site also has a great swimming pond, Canteen, and a game room with on-site washers and dryers.
