★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Yes, i would definitely stay here again when in the area... i actually plan on it!! My husband 2 dogs and I spent a week here and enjoyed every moment of it!!The location is close to many beautiful hiking trails places to eat, drink, and relax. The owners were very kind and accommodating to us. They clearly love and take great care of the grounds.Clean restrooms, showers, and laundry area !!😁I can not even express how beautiful this campground is, so I will drop some photos that hardley give it justice. In addition to the tranquil sound of the mill running 24/7, the views, history, and wildlife of the ground are worth the vist!I recommend you bring cash, although they did let us run our card with a small fee added. Also, don't climb on the rocks!!! 🐍
May 06 · Ashley MeekTook a quick detour off the Benton Mackaye trail to tent here and get a shower after a rainy day. The hosts were very hospitable. Would recommend to any hiker looking for a more comfortable place to tent for the night.
June 03 · JesseWe have visited Skeenah Creek several times and have had enjoyable experiences every time. Once time, we had a very comfortable and cozy stay in the renovated Shasta! The owner, Mark, is incredibly hospitable and accomodating. He sometimes gives tours of the historic mill which is fun and interesting. The bathrooms are cleaned regularly, the grounds are well-kept, and the campsites are spacious. We would definitely stay there again!
December 18 · michelle kalbachCamped here many times. Outstanding service. Owner are highly focused on providing exceptional service. Very clean and well kept campground. Spotless bathroom/bathhouse. The mill tour is very interesting, a step back in history. They also do bon fires on occasion which is a great way to meet other campers or just chill in warmth. Perfect location for Toccoa River tubing, kayaking, trout fishing…many hiking trials leading to fantastic sites like- Waterfalls, Swinging Bridge, Valley of the Giants and more…. Highly recommend. Can accommodate everything from tents, to pop ups, trailers and large Class A’s- many site have full hook up.
December 17 · shawn cavanaughThis is my go to place to get away for a nice weekend. I enjoy seeing the mill each time I go; they have a bunch of antiques and local artifacts from the early days of the area. The location is perfect, it’s close to the Swinging Bridge and Rock Creek; one of the most picturesque areas of the North Georgia mountains. Blue Ridge and Blairsville are a short drive for dinner or walking the downtown shops. I’m looking forward to my next mini-getaway.
