Singh RV & Campground is conveniently located at 14154 W Club Deluxe Rd, Hammond, LA 70403, USA. This placement in Hammond, within Tangipahoa Parish, provides a strategic advantage due to its close proximity to the Interstate. For Louisianans, particularly those traveling along I-12 or I-55, its accessibility makes it a practical stop for both overnight stays and longer-term residency, being just a short drive from the main thoroughfares.
While the proximity to the Interstate is a definite plus for quick access, the final approach to the campground, W Club Deluxe Rd, is noted by some visitors as being "very narrow and isn’t well lit," especially after dark. This is an important consideration for arrivals during evening hours or in adverse weather conditions. The internal roads of the park have also been described as being "in terrible shape," with "potholes & large cracks where there is asphalt, but mostly they were a mix of mud and gravel," particularly after heavy rain. This suggests that while accessible by most vehicles, larger RVs or those with lower clearance might experience a bumpy ride, and careful navigation is advised.
Despite these internal road conditions, the campground’s overall location within Hammond offers convenience. Hammond itself is a growing city with various amenities, including dining, shopping, and fuel, all within a short driving distance. This blend of easy highway access and local services contributes to its suitability for both short-term convenience and long-term living for residents across Louisiana, particularly those working or visiting the area.

The presence of a seasonal pool and playground, while needing improvement in drainage, still offers potential recreational outlets for families during warmer months.
In essence, Singh RV & Campground serves a distinct niche within the Louisiana camping landscape. It's not a luxury resort, nor is it a pristine wilderness escape. Instead, it offers an unpretentious, friendly, and practical solution for extended stays and convenient overnight stops, valuing community and affordability. For Louisianans whose priorities align with these features, and who are prepared for a more rustic infrastructure, Singh RV & Campground offers a welcoming and functional place to call home, even if for just one night.

Singh RV & Campground Reviews
My daughter and I have been here for a little over a year and have met some amazing people. This is a very friendly and stress free place to stay. If clean, friendly and relaxing environment is what you are looking for, then this is the place to stay. The residents, both people and animals, are very friendly and sociable. The owner as well as the management are very nice people, they make you feel welcomed and like you are a part of a family.
Jul 08, 2025 · FrankUpdating this to clarify my comments, which upset the owners. I wish I could give this RV park a better review, but wow - it’s really in bad shape. When we booked it was because of its close proximity to the Interstate. I saw the low ratings, but we just needed a pull-thru site for overnight. It was acceptable for just one night. From the looks of the sign in the park, this was once a KOA Kampground, but it must have failed to live up to KOA standards. My interactions with staff over the phone were good, and the person I spoke with was friendly & polite. We were delayed on our arrival due to a mechanical problem that took us off the road for three hours. I called to let the office know and she was accommodating. She took payment over the phone and messaged me a copy of the campground map and assigned us to site number 1. We appreciated her assistance. We had no interactions with other staff, but I can say the office person was responsive and professional.Driving after dark is something we rarely do, especially when it rainy and windy, but we needed to stay on schedule so we pressed on. We arrived at about 7PM - but the road it’s on is very narrow and isn’t well lit. We had the map, but it wasn’t easy to see how to get to our site so we ended up driving around the park until we finally located our site. There is no lighting and the roads are in terrible shape - potholes & large cracks where there is asphalt, but mostly they were a mix of mud and gravel. There had been a huge downpour of rain, which filled all the potholes and the campsites themselves were muddy. They seriously need some major work - the roads need paving and potholes repaired so they don’t fill with water or shake rigs driving through. The campsites also need work - if they were graveled and the grass was mowed they wouldn’t be so muddy. Our site had FHU with 50A - we used an adapter for our 30A rig. There is a small cement pad for a table, but there are no picnic tables and no fire pits. The sites are so close together, rigs are packed in like sardines. It appears there are only 5 sites not occupied by full-time residents or long-term campers working in the area. The remaining sites for overnight campers are located next to the fence along W Club Road and it was a bit noisy. There is a pool we assume is open in season. It was fenced in and covered. There is a fenced playground, but it was like a swamp. They obviously need to improve drainage. There were no pet waste stations anywhere. We didn’t check out the bathrooms or laundry. The office was closed. It was late and we were tired, so we decided to go out for dinner, but didn’t want to disconnect our TOAD. We wanted to walk to the brewpub next door to the campground, but the narrow road was dark and unlit, so we didn’t feel it was safe at night. They should install a gate so campers can walk next door safely. Ee ended up ordering food from Door Dash.If you need a place to stay for the night, this will suffice but I wouldn’t stay any longer.I apologize if the owner and staff are offended, but over the past three months we have camped in over 40 campgrounds across the U.S., and this was the second worse of them all. This campground could be improved greatly if they would pave the roads, gravel the campsites, and install some signage and lighting. It’s obviously been neglected for years and the current owners do not appear to be correcting the problems.
Dec 12, 2024 · Deb B.I haven’t read any other reviews and I was only here for one night but I’ll tell you and the world that the park manager, Lisa, was a life saver to me and a guardian angel.I arrived around 5pm driving my 32’ Class A motorhome. I had been driving for over 450 miles that day in a rush to get home to Georgia. Being 72 years old, towing a car, and dead tired, I promptly drove my RV into a steep ditch in front of the campground. I was completely stuck but Lisa just happened to be there. She had only been the manager for a month but she took complete control of the situation. She kept worrying about me above everything else. She rerouted traffic, called the local police to help me, and arranged for a tow truck to pull the RV out of the ditch. She got me a chair and some cold water and insisted that I let her take care of the situation. She was there for over two hours helping me and then walked me and my RV to the pull-through site she had saved for me. I told her that I still needed to register and pay for the night but she insisted that I just go to bed and rest for the night. If it wasn’t for her being there for me I shudder to think how bad it could have turned out. Lisa (she never told me her last name) was definitely a guardian angel that night and I will forever be grateful for all she did.
Jun 29, 2025 · Samuel StringerGreat Park!!! The new owners are so nice. They made me feel welcome as soon as I walked into the office. They even took us to our campsite. Park is very clean with wildlife everywhere (which I love). They have pull through spots and back in spots next to the water. We've been here for 4 days, and I'm sad to be leaving tomorrow. Definitely recommend this park!
May 10, 2023 · Melissa BlayThis campground has easy access on and off Interstate 20. The manager on duty was very helpful. He quickly returned to the office when we arrived after hours. He showed us to our campsite and even quickly repaired the electric connection when it would not work with our plug. The campground is quiet even though it is at the edge of a large town. The majority of the campers are long-term so there is a lot of stuff around many trailers. It was a good place for a one night stay while traveling.
