Simpson Springs Campground

Campground ★4.0

Utah, USA

I stopped by with a friend and spent the night on our way to the Geode Beds in June of 2025. The campground is quite nice and the upgrades the Forest Service has done are very welcome! The campsites are nicely leveled and have a gravel base laid down. The cement tables are also very nice. If you want a really remote desert experience, this is a good place for it. The silence at night is almost eerie. It doesn't take much to imagine what it was like in 1860 being a young rider traversing this landscape on horseback. - Jason Schill
