Silver Creek State Forest Campground

8701 N State Rd, Luther, MI 49656, USA

4.0
Pros:1. Very pretty...The Pine River runs through it and there is decent kayak access.2. Very quiet on weeknights. Could be bear activity when it's quiet, so take precautions.3. Pretty close to all of the Pine River Access points (within 10 miles or so)4. Nice campfire rings at each site.Primitive camp site, so as expected, not a lot of amenities.Cons:1. Camping sites are pretty small; maybe enough space for two tents or a small to mid.size RV.2. The vault toilets ran out of toilet paper.3. On the weekend, it is pretty loud well into the night with noisy people, probably because there.is nobody there to monitor like other campsites. - Kathy Wilmot
