Services Offered
Show Low Lake Campground provides a substantial list of services, elevating it beyond a basic primitive camping spot.
- RV and Tent Camping: The campground offers 75 campsites, including a combination of standard family sites, pull-through sites, and lakeside sites. Many of these sites come with RV electric hookups, which is a key offering for those with trailers or motorhomes. A public source states that some sites have 30-amp electric service.
- Restrooms and Showers: The campground provides public restrooms and showers. While the presence of these amenities is a major plus, some customer reviews express concerns about the cleanliness of the facilities and a perceived lack of regular maintenance. One review mentioned, "The stand alone restrooms were often.... not good," and another noted that a log showed "no cleaning for 5 days" in the main bathrooms. - Children's Amenities: The campground is very "good for kids," featuring a playground and designated kid-friendly hikes. This makes it a great spot for family vacations.
- On-Site Services: A small convenience store on-site offers bait, tackle, snacks, drinks, and ice, which is a major convenience. Boat rentals are also available, making it easy to get out on the lake.
- Payments: The campground accepts credit cards and debit cards, in addition to a camping fee. This flexibility makes payment easy for all visitors.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1So I think it is important to preface this review with, there are just somethings that campground staff cannot be responsible for, but it does impact the enjoyment of the stay. The staff definitely did their best to provide great customer service. From the moment we arrived till our departure the office staff was friendly and helpful, and explained why the showers had to close at 7pm etc. Maintenance staff......well that could use some work. I cleaned public restrooms for many years. It is a losing battle, but you still try. The stand alone restrooms were often.... not good. Toilet paper on the floor and small trash cans overflowing with used toilet paper. That is a cultural thing, and it sucks but the bathrooms need to be cleaned more. The main bathrooms showed staff had cleaned them but there was soap bar wrappers on the ground that were never touched. The campground itself, is not bad. If you live in a cookie cutter home, you'll have no issues, because you can hear the neighboring campsites chewing their food. most folks were friendly and adhered to the 10pm quite time. The lake is very low from being drained for dam work. Most of the artificial fish habitats are out of the water, and there are unmarked hazards in the lake. Mud everywhere, and people parking on the boat ramp because they did want to walk all the way up to the parking lot. I heard sheriffs department came through and threatened to issue citations.I would camp there again but definitely look for a site in one of the other smaller groupings of camp sites, and not in the main area.
July 11 · JasonWe stayed 2 nights and that was only because we were exhausted and couldn't be bothered to pack up and move again. Staff was nice enough but confused about a simple payment. Indoor bathroom log showed no cleaning for 5 days. Even when they "cleaned " everything is in such bad repair it looked filthy. Shower water barely warm. Expressed my concerns with management about over growth of weeds, general disrepair of main building and need to clean and manager response was met with excuses and general "out of my hands" response. We won't stay again. Id rather boondock for free.
July 20 · Brandy MartinIt's a nice campground. Not real good for fishing right now. Lake levels low. I'm handicapped I struggled quite a bit. No campfires either.
June 12 · Al MarleSince the drained the lake to do repairs the water level is so low it's not very appealing to want to fish or even cruise the water. It's a shame .
May 25 · Travis RowlandNothing fancy....scenery around the "lake" is plain.Supposedly a decent fishing lake, but we struck out and didn't see anyone else catching. Will have to come back to give it a second try another day.We did love the fish cleaning station. Cleaned our catch from Fool Hollow! Super easy and efficient.
