Shady Oaks Campground & RV Park Reviews
We had a great stay at the park, it was very quiet and everyone was very nice and helpful. It has recently been bought and changed I'm sure are coming. We loved our spot #28! It's off season so campground was pretty empty. Nice trail in the wooded area, my dogs loved! Johanna and Rocky were very pleasant and most helpful!New owner should consider updating bathhouses and laundry facility. Bigger dog park for large dogs would be great! We would definitely come back!! Oh and this is just for info, driveway is tricky coming out, as you are between 2 curves (pay close attention) not the owners fault by any means! We rode our motorcycle and e-bikes, beautiful countryside without a doubt!!! We didn't see Ruth or Marty, this was disappointing! IYKYK🤣🤣❣️❣️
May 12, 2025 · Cheryl SlyThis is a great RV park in a great location, about 10 min South of Harrison and approximately 20 minutes north of Jasper. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We have a 29' camper and it was *tight* to get into our spot, but the staff was very helpful in helping us navigate the wooded lots. Full hook ups available and room for our kids tent. Plenty of shade. Clean bathrooms and showers available. Fun games and playground for the kids. WiFi was strong and fast enough to stream TV shows/movies. They normally have LP gas refills available on site but were not yet up and running after a change in ownership. Similarly, normally there is bagged ice available on site but the machine was awaiting repairs/parts. We had a great experience and will definitely be back.
Mar 27, 2025 · Lonnie RobinsonABSOLUTELY HANDS DOWN the BEST campground we've been to. Johanna was so nice and delivered our fire wood to our campsite and the hospitality is wonderful. We loved the environment and the cleanliness of the campground.
Jun 10, 2025 · MargaretGreat campground to stay at. Nice clean restrooms and showers. Quiet peaceful location. Office manager is very friendly and accommodating.
May 26, 2025 · Mike DunnWe stayed in the Ozark Mountain cabin in August 2024. We visited this area to ride motorcycles. The cabin was perfect for our needs. The campground is in central location to many great motorcycle roads. The roads in the campground are motorcycle friendly.Dan (camp host) was very accommodating to any of our needs. He offered the use of his Jeep if we needed to get supplies. There is a Shell station a mile away which make it convenient to fill up the bikes for the next morning.
