Scotts Flat Lake Reviews
Not the best place for tent camping. Spent 3 nights here. 2 sites were $400 seems kinda high. Great lake and near endless trails!!! That was a positive. The huge negative was the bear activity. All the 3 nights constant bears going through the campground. Kinda scaryas an adult but also had kids to worry about. The place just tells you this is bear country. Not much to go off of. No bear boxes and no dumpsters makes really difficult to put food away. This place is almost worse than yosemite.Yosemite. Final conclusion is we probably won't go back!
Jun 26, 2025 · JDUBNice place to camp, we saw a small bear roaming at night so put your food away. The Lake is nice and blue, you'll have to drive to lake access unless your campsite is at gate 2. Each camp has a fill and dump station for your RV trailer. There are bathrooms and showers available for tent camping as well.
May 30, 2025 · J.M. FScotts Flat Campground is the perfect place for a memorable experience. If you get lucky and it is not too crowded, it is even better! We have gone twice once in July (crowded), and recently, in their off-season (April). I recommend off-season since you are more likely to snag a waterfront campsite and not have too many neighbors. The waterfront campsites are absolutely amazing. The view is gorgeous and convenient if you like to swim or have water toys. We enjoyed paddle boarding, fishing having bbqs, and smores. It's really nice to have direct access to the lake it saves you having to travel down to the day use area where parking can be limited. There are clean bathrooms and hot showers.
Apr 17, 2025 · Tanya Meraz1st time being at the lake was great. The scenery is great all the trees and hills were awesome. Family friendly campground I had gate 1 site 2 not much trees separating the sites and it is at a slant.
Jun 30, 2025 · AntWe love camping at Scott's flat! The waterfront sites are absolutely beautiful! You get your own lake access and incredible views. Friendly staff and clean bathrooms.
