Scott Lake Campground Reviews
I'm surprised to see the negative reviews. We started coming here about 3years ago on a visitor site. We wanted to camp with my dad when my sister, niece and nephew came. This was to see them and how we liked it. We fell in love with it and the whole area. The water is beautiful you have a boat. We even had a campfire til 3 am but we were very quiet and respectful. Quiet time is 1030pm and everyone is pretty good about that. There are lots of kids here so I'm not sure maybe things have changed here from 6 years ago. It took us 3 years or so just to get a seasonal site so I feel that speaks volumes. The owners are very kind and helpful. Idk what else to say except I'm happy to finally have a home for my camper and make our site our own! Very very happy camper! FYI I'm 42 and not retired.
Sep 22, 2024 · Heather PersingI love coming here with my friends every summer. Perfect place to chill, relax, grill up some food and hand out by the bonfire at night. Not too far of a drive from South Haven but enough distance to be away from the heavy touristy areas.

May 09, 2025 · Linda RozakThis is a great place to camp. The owner, Herb, is a very nice man and helps anyone who needs help. Lou also is here to help you if you have a problem. We love to have children here and they are perfectly welcome. We do have a 10:30 quiet time, but you don't have to go to bed. You just have to respect others that may want to have some peace before they go to bed. Many people have campfires until 1 or 2 in the morning.
Aug 01, 2018 · Linda GregorMy mother who has paid the season fee is getting an eviction. This is where my mom lives she lives in her camper from the time it opens til the time it closes. The owner is very very rude and cussed out my mom but says her neighbors were complaining her company was cursing to much. She never got any warnings or anything. This isn't a family welcoming campgrounds like they say it is. Things have changed in the past 5 years. 5 years ago it was a wonderful campgrounds now its just going into the dirt
