Was able to kayak down the yellow River and exit our travel thru this beautiful campground. They were kind and hospitable even though we were not staying on site. Beautiful horse pasture and elk farm right next to this place!

Jun 18, 2024 · Annie BoldtSecond time at Scenic View and the second time we had a fantastic experience. Highly recommend this campground! Super friendly owners and seasonal campers, a shuttle for kayaks and tubes. Beautiful views, gorgeous in the fall 😍
Aug 18, 2024 · Angie WellsThe first thing I thought when I pulled in this campground was wow. It's a gem of a place and we couldn't have been happier to be able to stay here over the 4th of July holiday weekend. We loved it so much we extended our stay twice. The owners Kenny and Renee are wonderful people, who made us feel welcome and we liked all of our neighbors some who were permanent residents. The yellow River is fun to kayak, canoe or tube down, they have shuttle services to make this a fun day. There's a swimming hole for all to enjoy, certainly a blessing on a hot day. Overall we cannot wait to come back. This did not disappoint and Renee was very easy to talk to when booking she explains everything. Almost forgot, this was one of the most dog friendliest campgrounds we have ever been in and our fur baby Luke absolutely loved it
Jul 18, 2023 · Diane VandenbergScenic View Campground is by far one of the nicest camping experiences we, as a family of five, have had.We rented a camper for the Fourth of July weekend and it was spectacular! Upon arrival and check in we were pleasantly surprised with our amenities. Like the review before stated, this camper is completely stocked! Seriously all you need to bring is food, beverages and personal toiletries.Plates, cups, pots and pans, full size refrigerator, stove, toilet paper, TV and air conditioning!!!!You couldn’t get better service. This is definitely a family run business that takes great pride in providing a safe, clean and peaceful environment. What better way to spend the day kayaking the Yellow river. Amazing views, from Eagles soaring high above the canopy to busy beavers fast at work. The river is excellent for first timers, Myself as well as my children had never kayaked a river before, even my 8 y/o was able to navigate his own kayak without incident. The firework display exceeded my expectations ten fold! I promise, if you want to get away from it all for a week or a weekend, you will not be disappointed.
