Scarlett Knob Campground Inc, as a privately owned and popular destination, manages its bookings and pricing with specific policies rather than frequently advertised "special offers" in the traditional discount sense. Their approach focuses on guaranteed site availability and transparent pricing. However, for Pennsylvanians planning a trip, there are a few key points that provide value and might be considered "offers" in their operational structure:
- Guaranteed Site Reservations: While not a discount, the ability to reserve a specific site (if available and suitable) and have it guaranteed with a pre-paid reservation is a significant convenience, especially during busy seasons or for groups. This avoids the uncertainty of first-come, first-served camping.
- One-Night Reservations Available: Unlike some campgrounds that enforce multi-night minimums, Scarlett Knob accepts one-night reservations, except on major holiday weekends (Memorial Day and Labor Day), where a two-night minimum applies. This flexibility is a great "offer" for Pennsylvanians looking for quick overnight stays or weekend escapes.
- Consistent Pricing: The campground states there is "no price difference per night for any night of the season." This transparent pricing model means no unexpected surge pricing, allowing for easier budget planning for locals.
- Drive-Ins Welcome (After 1 PM): While reservations are strongly suggested, the campground welcomes "Drive-Ins (without Reservations) after 1 PM." This offers flexibility for spontaneous trips, though availability is not guaranteed.
- Value of Amenities: The inclusion of a no-license-required fishing lake, clean and hot showers (coin-operated), and a recreation field provides substantial recreational value that's built into the camping fee.

Scarlett Knob Campground Inc Reviews
Came here this weekend and had a great time. Very quiet campsite. Much more spacious than the state campsite up the road. Staff was very friendly. Will definitely be coming back.
Apr 28, 2025 · Alex FritWe had a great time! Our site was secluded and we had a port a john close by. I loved that the firepits were rocks and not metal rims. Bath/shower house was clean and did the job. Thank you Candy for being so nice and letting us change sites after our arrival! We also loved the office cat Chaos! We will be back! Thanks again for a great experience!!
Aug 27, 2024 · NatSuper friendly people run this campground. We came in on an October evening and we had the place to ourselves. The sitesare beautiful and spacious. We used the pit toilets and they were very clean for what they are. No road noise just nature sounds. Super peaceful after a long drive from Northern Illinois. If we are back in the area again we will defintley camp here.
Oct 07, 2024 · Chrysti BeckerBeautiful wooded sites. Gravel, nice hand stacked stone fire pit for an enjoyable fire. Quiet and private during the week. Nearby OPSP bike path, falls and several amenities in Ohiopyle. Kind of strict with 11 am checkout. You MUST BE GONE BY 11 or they will charge you for that day too. We like to have the leaving day as our pack up ready to go. Everything is away, unplugged, we literally are sitting playing games at the table. But we couldn't do that and the attitude was pretty rigid . There were many sites open around us . Rules are rules but I think check out should be 1-2. These sites are no fuss. Pay showers are 25¢ / few minutes so bring quarters. And it's nice to have 30 amp for our little camper but there is not a dump station for sewage / grey water. We have been here 3 times now. It was relaxing and a good place to camp if you like more primitive wooded sites.
Jul 30, 2024 · Diane (Äiti the Fun One)Secluded, private, secure, and spacious. Great for basic camping/adults. Spotless bathrooms at the entrance. Seems to always have availability, which is why we returned. Friendly staff. The office could be more inviting; the porch is a mess. The office store does not offer more than ice and firewood.
