Jun 29, 2025 · LizNice lake, easy hike around the lake, and camp ground.
May 26, 2025 · Michael FinchOverall we had a great time and the campground was very clean but pretty tight camping spots. The beach was nice and clean and the docks were nice for the kids to jump from.Unfortunately, we are not residents and had to pay the inflated non-resident prices that Idaho has imposed. There is a nice little store that sells the typical campground stuff and a variety of packaged ice cream. We also were able to rent a couple of kayaks for a hour and had a great time.Note pet owners, the dog policy is strict, so beware that they can't be left at camp, even when on a leash or allowed on the beach, which meant someone always had to stay with the dog. There is a very nice trail that goes all the way around the lake with very pretty views but be mindful there are a few sections that can be difficult to pass with skinny and rocky portions. But with a few foot bridges and wood boardwalks, it's super fun.
Aug 16, 2023 · James SchellerWe stayed here at Round Lake Campground on 3 separate occasions this year (2025). It is a nice clean campground. The mosquitoes are out of control!! No matter what campsite you are at the mosquitoes will eat you alive! Something needs to be done. Burning a campfire made no difference. Spraying mosquito repellent made little difference. Repel candles don't keep them away! It really was so uncomfortable. We spent more time swatting at them then was worth the trip. I would recommend a different campground.
Jun 08, 2025 · Catherine ToselandHiking trails are nice, low to medium effort. All shaded by forestry around there. We saw turtles, beavers, snake, few fish.
