Rolling Hills Campground Reviews
This property used to be a camp long ago and is in need of updating. There IS a new pickleball court and bathhouse which is great. There is a conference center and a gym and hotel on property. There are rundown camp cabins on property and old picnic tables scattered on property. There are some broken playground equipment . There are two ponds for fishing. There is a nice trail around bigger one. Most people here are long term residents or working out of town. Pets are welcome as long as they are leashed outside and reside in your camper. Area stays quiet with no craziness going on . You won’t see many people outside. Roads are not paved and pretty rough.. Staff is always nice and helpful
Mar 30, 2025 · Linda RhodesStayed for one night passing thru to our destination. Would not recommend unless no other options. Park was unkept, sites unlevel, roads had potholes, and weeds everywhere. Mostly occupied by permanent residents in older units. On a Saturday afternoon no one was in office to check us in. No information left for us as to where our site was located, where to find amenities, etc. Had to figure out where dumpsters, where to walk dog (no dog park or waste stations).Walked across the road to the lake and dock was sagging and partially in water. Took dog for a walk by lake and so many fireant hills- beware if you have dogs or children! Overall one of the worst places in our years of traveling. website pictures are deceiving.
Apr 28, 2025 · Annette BoninWe held our family reunion here a nice place to hold a function like that clean spacious and comfortable tables and chairs
Jun 04, 2025 · Larry BroadheadLove it!! The lake is beautiful, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Laundy allows you to pay through app, so that is an amazing bonus.
Jun 02, 2023 · Al ReesVery strange place. No staff on duty when we arrived mid-afternoon. Mostly occupied by permanent residents which makes you feel like you're an invader. One night was plenty. Sign says "No Alcohol"...what????? Later found out that means "in the park" not in the campground. So, go ahead and have a drink - you'll need it when you wish you were camping somewhere else. Sage Bar & Grill with live entertainment nearby is pretty good - check it out.
