Robbers Roost Campground

Idaho Springs, CO 80452, USA

4.0
The location of this campground is both a positive positive and negative. It is right beside the highway taking you into Winter Park and over the pass. Because of that,aa you always hear road noise on the other hand it’s a great campground because there are streams running through it, tall, tall trees, path up into the mountain behind the campground. It’s very beautiful and green and not a dusty hot campground. We got the lovely spot at the end of the campground with a little bridge over the stream. The spot is huge and really fun with kids and animals. It did rain all night blocked out the road noise. The sound of the vehicles could drive a person, crazy, especially the big trucks and their air brakes. They were also lots of helicopters overhead. strange. - Patty Durbin
