I'm probably going to regret doing this review, this is the first review for this campground. The reason for my regret is how hard it will be to get in once you see the best kept secret along the Ohio River. It took me a few months to find anything out about the campground. I knew it existed, just couldn't find any info on it, so here goes. This is located in Vevay (pronounced Veevee), Indiana along the Ohio River. There are 44 sites that offered at thus City Campground. 12 site are full hook up but those are only 30a and no shade. Also located on the other side of the park. You can still see the river from them. All the other sites offer 50a/30a/15a. The sites that are along the river share a water hook up with your neighbor (water on every other site. Lots of shade in the area that is Electric/Water only. All sites are gravel pads, if it rains, there will be puddles along the front of the sites.Leaving the campground in a long motorhome you'll have to watch the transition to the boat ramp. The people around here care about the town. Brandi, who works for the city, brought us out our camping packet. They had a severe Strom the day before our arrival and had the campground cleaned up before we got here. They even brought us a brand new fire ring. They keep the rates affordable so they can offset the cost of mowing. The bathroom is located by the playground, the shower house is located by the full hook-up section along with the Dump station.Quite, peaceful, shady, affordable, and awesome views of the barges going by (the only noise you'll probably here). We camped Labor Day weekend. Saw an Ice cream truck go through and on Saturday night the City was doing an outdoor movie with Free Popcorn in the park. Campground was on 1/4 full, but I bet it'll be hard to get in next year once everyone knows about it... I'll probably kick myself in the butt for telling you about it. The community really takes pride in their park and the up keep. Thank you for sharing it with us. - Mike Brewer
