Riverfront Campground & Canoe Reviews
I had an absolute blast staying at Riverfront. We stayed in Misty River Suites A & B, and they were perfect. Cute, clean, with a hiking path, picnic tables, and a fire pit right outside the front door. We had so much fun on the float trip, too. It was very well-organized. The staff were all very kind and helpful. The site is also super close to a state park that has great hiking and fly fishing. I'm already planning on coming back next year! The only downside is probably the location. You're very far from a grocery store or a restaurant. So I'd recommend bringing your own food to eat, at least if you have a cabin with a refrigerator.Anyway, what a great trip!
Jun 03, 2025 · Abigail ChappellWe rented a 30amp full service site for a few nights. The sites have a nice level concrete pad but the sewer connection needs improving. The property was very peaceful always and staff were very professional and kind. We also did a river float with them which was a blast. The only downside is the fact you have to drive down a steep hill to check in and back up again with your rig and it was very dusty and a lot of flies and very few trees. They also have a private beach on the river you can enjoy for free anytime. Al in all a great place to camp close to Lebanon and an hour from Osage.
Jun 28, 2025 · Eric BookerWe have been coming for years with friends. The new editions Riverfront has added are amazing. Even tho our float trip this year was cold and a bit rainy Virginia made the after a party of her own . She was absolutely amazing at lifting our spirits and filling our cups with goodness. There is nothing better then coming to your favorite spot and somehow she remembers your name every time. She continues to go above and beyond to make make sure we are always taken care of. You don't come across people like her often. I'm thankful for the Riverfront and the beautiful stay we always get .
Jun 29, 2025 · Kelly FowlerWe always enjoy our stay at riverfront.Nice campgrounds with friendly staff. Had some trouble with our reservation this year and the young lady and the owner were super nice and helpful in figuring it out. Also enjoyed our driver from the Lloyd bus she was super fun and made our trip back to the campground enjoyable. Also amazing coffee!!!
Jul 06, 2025 · lee scribnerWe've always had such wonderful memories at your place, which is why I immediately thought of you when planning a special Memorial Day weekend for our families. For a few years, your establishment was the home for our large annual group event, and we've always appreciated the warmth and hospitality we've experienced. This year, however, has brought some unexpected challenges. With the severe weather we've been seeing, including the recent devastating tornadoes and hail, our primary concern has been the safety and well-being of our children and families. It was with a heavy heart that we realized rescheduling our trip was the only responsible decision. We weren't looking for a refund, or to cause any inconvenience; we simply hoped to move our reservation to a safer weekend, keeping everything else exactly the same.We were so disappointed to hear that our camping portion couldn't be rescheduled due to your rain policy, even though you were able to work with us on the floating. As a result, we're out the full cost of camping, which is a significant loss for our families, especially when we were simply trying to ensure everyone's safety. We genuinely love your place, and we've envisioned making it our annual tradition for our family camping and floating trips. Knowing that we might have to take our business elsewhere, to places like Hidden Valley or the park, truly saddens us. We're just a couple of families who were hoping for a memorable and safe weekend, and we're hoping there might be some way you could reconsider and help us out. We'd be so grateful if you could find it in your heart to work with us on rescheduling our camping trip, allowing us to continue making those cherished memories at your beautiful location.
