River View Campground & Canoe Livery Reviews
We did not stay in a room. We stayed on a water and electric site .Wow, wow, wow, absolutely the best campground i have ever stayed in. we camp a lot all over the state .we had a large group with us 16 total .super clean restrooms and shower houses . We did the tubing while we were there so much fun. What an experience. The front office store, ect, was like a 5 start hotel set up . Very well organized grounds and area . We also brought motorcycles with us so we all could ride the area. No complaints were made about us . Met a lot of friendly people, aka other campersHighly recommend staying here . Hope to see you there because we will be back very soon.
Jun 27, 2025 · Scott PetkovI definitely won't be going back. Pricing is ridiculous and you're almost obligated to rent equipment if you're looking to float on the river considering, they dont transport personal equipment. I brought personal kayaks and tubes with us on our trip, thinking it would still be relatively easy to just use public access. But you're not allowed to stop at the campground down the road to exit the water. The fact that I didn't bring extra car seats for my kids made us fall into their b.s. pricing. It cost $175 for 2 adults and 4 kids under 7 to float on the river. Even though we brought our own equipment. The location is just horrible, if you're trying to use your own equipment.Edit, and you're right, i could have done the research, if I wanted to PAY for your wifi access... because there's obviously no internet service in your area. (To be expected). So dont snap back at me telling me to do my research... if I cant without paying into another one of your schemes. I was just soo sick of over paying for everything while I was there. It would be understandable, if the campground was was fun once you got off the river. But it's quite lacking. Just saying.... Riverbend campground about 20 minutes away, in Omer transports personal equipment without a second thought. Maybe you guys should consider it.
Jun 25, 2025 · This GuyTotally best time ever! Except for getting our tube's to float on the river. The person heading that department and training someone new was very cold, and said we were lucky we caught her on a good day, when the new employee was doing something kind for me. That was the only hiccup. Being talked to like that basically stole a little bit of fun from us
Jun 18, 2025 · Chris ZVery friendly staff, super clean showers and bathrooms. A must-visit for anyone who wants to get away. We stayed in a very neat cabin.
Jul 01, 2025 · Sandra CooperCalled spoke to a gentleman who while I was getting payment ready hung up on me. Than I call back and told by a lady they don't do reservations on Friday. I had problems in the pass with this too. Definitely thought it would be better by now.
