★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This KOA is nestled right in the mountains of Red Lodge and is the perfect location! The facilities (the store, the bathrooms, the laundry room) are all immaculate. The owners are the most professional, friendly people you will ever meet. They love their campground and love helping others learn to love camping and exploring Montana. They were so welcoming and shared lots of tips on where to go, what to do, where to eat - EVERYTHING! The campground is located about an hour outside of Yellowstone and is the perfect home base for doing day trips or perfect stop on your way thru to other stops. We highly recommend this KOA.
July 10 · Shelli WilburnBest KOA ever. The owners are the nicest people you could meet. The campground is beautiful and well maintained. The bathrooms and shower units are extremely clean. We stayed in a little cabin by a babbling brook. Can't wait for our next stay. Thank you Jason for taking the time to have a conversation with us. Eric and Susan from North Dakota.
June 22 · Eric ChristensenFriendly and great customer service in what would appear to be a family-owned and run type of operation. They were over-the-top helpful in all our needs! Highly recommend staying for RV-ers. I can't speak for tent camping or cabin renters.
July 07 · Sandra RaudabaughThe koa itself was nice, people were nice. Small trail to the river but not really a spot to swim or anything. Maybe fish. We paid extra for a deluxe site but it faced the afternoon sun which was not very deluxe. Large dog park but not a tree in or around it so it was hot. They say this Koa is 4 miles from town but that is to the out skirts not sure but at least another mile into town. We road bikes, but I wouldn't recommend it, there is no shoulder to speak of and it's a busy fast street, main road in. Good place of you have a car to roll around in but if you don't, best to just spend the night on your way. I thought I had read that they had a shuttle but they did not. Is stay again but just for one night and not a deluxe site.
July 15 · Elayne BakerRebecca, I want to thank you for helping us and our other camping friends for accommodating us the way you did. You and your staff are so friendly and helpful. The showers/bathrooms were very clean along with the laundry room. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks again.
