Red Canyon Jeep Trail Head @ 10 fwy Reviews
First time off roading. After reading reviews and watching half a dozen YouTube videos of Red Rock, my wife and I decided to give it a try. We took our new Ram Rebel with a two-inch lift. The trail was relatively easy. Very bumpy the first 4-5 miles, but then it got better. There are a couple places I was glad I had the lift on my truck. Very fun trail. We took it to Bradshaw Trail, turned right (south) and went down to the abandoned train bridge where we stopped to have lunch. Fun day. On the way back, we took Bradshaw Trail back north to the 10fwy. Not a difficult trail for this newbie and his truck. Will definitely do it again.
Feb 17, 2022 · R CThis trail is easy and a lot of fun. It takes you up along a canyon with great views. You can to drive into the canyon with endless opportunities to explore. We took a crostrek and it had no problems with the terrain. We camped overnight in the canyon. Lots of spots to camp. We went on a weekend in summer, it was a bit hot but we had the place to ourselves. Not a single other vehicle since we left the freeway.Surprisingly we even saw a deer in the canyon. There is more to this desert than first meets the eye.
Oct 27, 2017 · Drew LaffertyAwesome trail that I was able to complete in a few hours. I took it easy and still somehow managed to lose a shock bushing and had to limp back to the interstate with a field repair. Be careful and go with a buddy and you’ll be fine, some areas of the trail are rough and somewhat technical.
Nov 23, 2020 · Kyle GravoisIncredible Sunsets in isolation. We camped at the trailhead for 3 days and only saw one hiker.Be Aware -- the Teddy Bear looking cactus explode when you bump into them. If you take a short hike through terrain and bumb into one of those bad-boys your bound to get stuck. The needles have barbs, making the plucking process quiet painful.
Feb 16, 2020 · Jessica WaldrepRelatively easy trail with some phenomenal views. Not very busy. Washboarded surface is a good test of your determination.
