Raton Pass Camp & Café Reviews
This is our second time to stay at Raton Pass. The view is just breathtaking and the location is perfect. We needed to stay an extra day because of a really bad rain/snow/wind storm that came through the day we were to check out. The Owners understood and welcomed us to stay the extra day for our safety. The restrooms are spotless and roomy. The Owners are the nicest Host we have met in a very long time. Caring, knowledgeable and present if you need them. Thank you for a wonderful stay at your RV park. We will be back.
May 20, 2025 · Kathi BellNeeded a spot to pull the adventure van in for the night and stopped in hoping. They were happy to have us and gave us an amazing space overlooking the valley! My favorite thing about the place is that on the desk is a notice that everyone here wants to see the stars, keep your stadium lighting for somewhere else. And it was legit the most quiet and not overly lit campground I've been to in forever. Woke up to the best view of the valley as the sun was coming up.Highly recommend. Good people, good place.
Jul 02, 2025 · Conor DavisBeen traveling in my RV’s since I was a kid. Been full time for the past 5 years. Rhonda and Mike are two of the best people and business owners I’ve met along the way. The spot is great with great views and a is convenient stop between Texas and Colorado. But the family vibe is what makes this place great. It was a Sunday (Father’s Day no less) and the “down time” between checkout and the next check ins. When I went to leave I discovered that my rig had a major mechanical/electrical problem causing the exterior stairs to stay out. I was going to have to stay put and cancel plans with friends. Mike wouldn’t have it. He came out, analyzed the problem, fixed it, wouldn’t accept my offer to pay and sent me on my way. I made it to my meet with that old friend and we toasted Mike and Rhonda. A really great family run business.
