May 07, 2024 · Amy Growden-LohrWhat a beautiful property! Camp sites are nicely scattered, yet have quick access to the river. The stars are brilliant, being far from city lights, yet there is a little cafe and store nearby (as well as cell service!). Firewood is plentiful! Cash option for additional wood is a box onsite.I was dismayed with the overfull trash can and the loose trash around it. I was surprised that there are train tracks on two sides of the property with trains running day and night. I recommend you check the weather as well. We experienced every weather pattern available! We plan to return, as it was well worth it. Thanks to our hosts for sharing their property!
Apr 10, 2024 · Addison MartinThe campsites are awesome! They are right on the river there is plenty of space between the four campsites there's firewood, fire pits and good spots to pitch tents or hang a hammock. We will definitely be going back in the future!
Aug 15, 2020 · josh herrDo not take your garbage off the campground property unless your taking it to a county approved receptacle. Do not leave any garbage at the entrance which is county owned on Gilmore's Mill rd no matter what the owners tell you. If you do there are camera's and you will fined for illegal littering and made to pay for clean up!!! Wendy should respect you by providing on site garbage collection!!!
