Competitive Group Rates: For Scout troops and other youth organizations, the fees charged are designed to be competitive and affordable for educational and recreational programming. Organizations can inquire about specific rates for their group size and planned activities.
Inclusive Facilities Usage: The booking fee for cabins or campsites often includes access to a wide range of well-maintained facilities, such as pavilions, activity fields, nature trails, and bathroom facilities, providing significant value for the cost.
Staff Support and Program Assistance: The accommodating and helpful staff, including the Ranger, who are willing to assist with forgotten equipment or other needs, effectively add significant value to the overall experience, preventing disruptions and ensuring a successful event. This level of on-site support is a major benefit for group leaders.
Educational Programming Resources: As a Scout facility, they may offer access to various program resources or curriculum support that aligns with Scouting principles, which is a value-add for troops utilizing the camp.
Long-Term Booking Advantages: For organizations that plan annual retreats or regular visits, there might be opportunities for preferred booking slots or consistent rates for recurring group use, which can be seen as a form of long-term value.

Quail Hill Scout Reservation Reviews
Nice grounds, natures trails, trading post.very comfortable cabin for large group. Excellent bathroom facilities for a Scout facility. Future home of NJ Scouting Museum.
Mar 03, 2025 · Matthew SimonExceptionally well maintained Camp. Cabins recently upgraded exceeding our expectations of a youth camp. Recent upgrades of adding pavilions to most every campsite makes this camp a perfect place to go regardless of the weather. In the heart of Monmouth County camping there gives you the feeling you’re in the woods. The Ranger and staff on the property are accommodating, friendly, and accessible. Our group is from Pennsylvania. On arrival we realized we had forgotten piece of equipment. Rather than being a disaster for our weekend, the camp staff was able to provide us loaner equipment save our event. The activity fields and program areas are impeccably maintained. Most important to us the cabins and bathroom facilities accommodate both boys and girls more than adequately.
Apr 03, 2025 · Gary du BoisAwesome campground we come almost every September. The kids love it here because of the big field and activities. The lake has plenty of fish but the kids hate walking to it(1 mile from main camping area). Gun and Archery range that is plenty of fun and hiking trails throughout. Bathroom and shower facilities are decent. Not a bad way to spend a weekend.
Sep 19, 2022 · Marcus Anderson SrWhat a fantastic campground! Friendly staff, and the amenities are always being updated. The nature is pristine and beautiful. We heard so many owls and foxes at night. Definitely recommended!
Nov 12, 2023 · Brian EpsteinCamp ground restrooms are co-ed, there is no door separating male and female. I remember when I was using the bathroom 2 boys walked in and wouldn’t leave. When I told my concerns to staff they did not take appropriate action to solve the situation. I also saw some inappropriate behavior from camp staff to the children. It is an okay summer camp for children, and a beautiful reserve, yet I wouldn’t recommend working here.
