Pymatuning State Park - Linesville Campground

4.0
Really enjoyed our stay. The reservoir was far more beautiful than we had expected. We rented paddleboards one day and kayaks another and enjoyed every second out on the water. Some sites have a great view of the water. The only thing we really didn't like about the campground was the location of the dump station. - Nichole Oliver

Promotions or Special Offers

As a part of the Pennsylvania State Parks system, Pymatuning State Park - Linesville Campground operates under state-regulated pricing and reservation policies rather than offering frequent, commercial-style promotions or special offers that you might find at private campgrounds. However, there are inherent cost-benefits and potential discounts available for Pennsylvania residents.

  • Resident vs. Non-Resident Pricing: Pennsylvania residents often benefit from slightly lower campsite fees compared to non-residents, making it a cost-effective option for locals to enjoy their state parks.

  • Weekly Discounts: State parks sometimes offer a weekly discount for longer stays. For instance, a small discount might be applied per week, encouraging visitors to extend their time and fully explore the park.

  • Senior and Disability Discounts: Seniors (62 years and older) and individuals with disabilities may be eligible for reduced nightly rates on campsites, providing an accessible option for these groups.

  • Advance Reservations: While not a "promotion," the ability to reserve campsites up to 11 months in advance is a significant benefit, especially for popular parks like Pymatuning. This allows Pennsylvanians to secure their preferred site and dates, avoiding disappointment during peak seasons. Reservations can be made online via the Pennsylvania State Parks website or by phone.

  • Seasonal Operations: The campground is typically open from mid-April through mid-October. Planning visits during the shoulder seasons (spring or fall) might offer a quieter experience and potentially better site availability compared to the busy summer months, though prices generally remain consistent for the season.
