Primrose Meadows Private Campground holds an intriguing address: NHN, Missoula, MT 59808, USA. Primrose Meadows Private Campground Reviews
11/10 campsite! I’ve been traveling all across the U.S. in my truck camper build to see America and meet new people, make new friends. This camping experience just outside of Missoula has truly captured what I envisioned of camping in Montana and seeing the beauty this state has to offer. Camp host is a truly wonderful human being and was a blessing to meet her and converse. Very friendly, down to Earth people. I felt very comfortable during my stay. I stayed 2 nights at the campsite that’s the closest to the train tracks and it didn’t bother me in the slightest I slept like a rock all night. Also the sites are spread out far enough that noise and privacy is no concern. Absolutely recommend this place to stay, it really captures the beauty and essence that Montana has to offer. The sunset over the mountains while standing by the fire in the prairie is just the coolest experience I felt just like the cowboys and settlers from so long ago that traveled these lands for the first time. Highly recommend, I will stay here again when I’m in Montana. P.s. highly recommend getting the grass fed local beef they offer here it’s awesome for a night of grilling burgers on the fire!
Jun 17, 2025 · DawsGreat experience. Rolled in a little late around 8pm. Clean pit toilets. Erin the host was very kind and helpful. My kids loved all the ground squirrels.
Jun 08, 2023 · Margaret PerryI stayed at Primrose for two months and I couldn’t have been happier with this place. The quiet peacefulness and pleasant surroundings made for a perfect stay for me. Being able to watch the comings and goings of weather and the raw natural environment as it unfolded over the mountains and the valley below. This relative calm away from a completely frenetic world, allowed me to appreciate the freight trains as they passed by closely, wailing their whistles at the crossing like clockwork, and then back to serenity. The cleanliness of the sites, bathroom and roads as well as the fire pits combined with the owners respect for my own privacy made me feel right at home and comfortable. I will most definitely be coming back.
Dec 11, 2024 · Ted RogersLoved this place very quiet train not bad at all we stayed in camp site #7 wish I got to meet Erin but maybe next time 🥰 would definitely stay here again ♥️
Jul 16, 2024 · Jennifer HallGreat spot! It was perfect for our last minute need to stop in our family campervan trip. Gorgeous sunset, well maintained sites, clean bathroom... there was a little noise from the trains but we could also hear cows mooing in the adjacent fields which was pretty cool. This was our first time using HipCamp and we were definitely impressed.
