Natural Tunnel Campground is nice. It doesn't have sewage hookups. It's a beautiful area. Daniel Boone traveled through this area I believe. There is a Daniel Boone museum. Chair lift, of course Natural Tunnel is a sight to see.
Jun 24, 2025 · Van KiserAfter camping in 18 different states over the course of the last 8 months, this site by far out ranks them all. I’ve never been more impressed with a “primitive” campsite. There is even a duo of port-a-potties. 10 outta 10 stars. Highly recommend! As far as other amenities go. There is a shower house with very well-kept, clean, and not-muggy showers. The restrooms are clean and smell good. There is a huge water basin located outside the shower house for cleaning dishes. There is even a laundry room with 2 washers & 2 dryers, and a soap dispenser. I brought my own so I don’t know if they are stocked. The laundry room also provides a folding table and a water basin for handwashing delicates (or whatever) as well. $1.00 per wash. $1.00 per dry.
Aug 23, 2024 · Kallan PaigeAn EXAMPLE of what a state park campground should be. Staff was friendly and accommodating and facilities were super clean and functional. One of if not the best state park campgrounds I've ever stayed at. Close enough to town as well for supplies.
