Jul 04, 2025 · Dan KlevemannWhat this place needs are several back in RV parking spots with 30 amp electric, water, and septic hookups. (and more trees)That will draw more travelers to the city and relieve the pressure on the other parks.
May 18, 2024 · Kansas DevilPeaceful but creepy with the drivers who park sitting in their vehicles and watch campers. One even drove up following me as I walked back to camp.It would be nice to have more police presence out there. An officer drove by outside of the park and I was hoping they would enter to at least do a drive-by, even better to check in on us, but he didn't. He just glanced over and kept driving, despite multiple vehicles clumped together with their lights on (which anywhere else, even a Walmart parking lot in the daytime, would draw suspicion and an officer to check-in). Perhaps some cameras would help keep people safer, and at least help to deter the crazies and criminal activity.
