★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Awesome place to go for the weekend! Spent three nights there and had a spectacular time with spectacular views! This was our first camping trip there we normally go to Kelly Canyon and it definitely won't be the last to that spot!!!
May 29 · Ken aGreat location to bring the family or solo camping! Keep an eye out for wildlife though because you'll hear wolf/coyote howls at night. The best part is that it's free and the restroom is kept clean! Be advised that it's bear country there, so take proper precautions. For Cricket customers, you'll lose service about 1.5 miles before the campground fyi.
September 06 · Drew LewisLoved staying here! It was very cold the 3 days we were there. It was so cool seeing the cows on the way in though. If you do feel like it I suggest taking a drive into cherry and seeing all the homes!
May 18 · SammiI've been going here for as long as I can remember. It has every thing you need. A table, the fire pit and cleared out individual camp sites. There are clean outhouses that actually smell good! A ghost town and a bed and breakfast (you know just in case camping isn't your thing). I will go here forever and my kids get to go too. I hope this is a tradition that continues to get passed down for many more generations to come.
June 25 · amy vivianNice campground & yes it's free! Only downside is that the bathrooms smell awful. Come prepared for lots of huge bugs/wasps. Also during these fire restrictions, you must have self contained flames ie. oil lamps or device where there would be no way of the flames spreading and causing a fire. Cops were called up to inspect ours and we got the green light since we had water with us in case one somehow broke. Lets all help to keep this place clean! Pack in Pack out 💪
