Powder Creek Campground Reviews
A wonderful and delightful slice of heaven. Large camping spots, clean toilets & the friendliest folks run this place. Lots of places to walk and explore – we saw deer, rabbits, slugs, ducks & all sorts of birds. The creek running next to the campsite made for a wonderful experience and we can’t wait to go back!
Jun 27, 2025 · Sarah Slushermy boyfriend and 2 pups had missed out on a campsite due to spontaneity; we called 15 locations, some didn’t answer but bev did!! she took my name and number and said she’d call in 10 minutes to ensure they had a place for us to stay. well to our surprise someone had left a day early! she waited for us to get to the ranch at the end of the lane way and proceeded to escort us to our spot! to say this place was not magic would be an understatement. we parked our tent next to the beaver pond and listened to the frogs croak until late in the night. while we weren’t able to get much of a look around the ranch, we did see many wild creatures and left only footprints where we were allowed! thank you to everyone who keeps this ranch up and running and beautiful! highly, highly recommend the powder creek campground, we’ll hopefully be back next year!!
Jul 29, 2024 · Shelby BuellThe most beautiful campground we’ve ever been to! Our site was right on the creek with lots of trees for shade. Tons of deer and elk. Good trout fishing off the bridge. The host and owners were such sweet people and we enjoyed chatting with them. We’re already planning to go back this year to take more people who will enjoy it as much as we did!
Jun 17, 2024 · Krys RaganWe had an amazing time here. Truly a hidden gem. If you’re in the area I would definitely recommend checking it out!!
Jun 13, 2025 · Chase LorzAn absolute gem in the heart of the Wild and Scenic Nestucca River corridor with wildlife on full displace. Herbie a small deer is more friendlier than my own dog. The Brenda, Bev and Dennis are great hosts. Bev is a trooper and 85 yrs young lady with an awesome personality that will leave a smile on your face. Purchased a variety of vacuum sealed pork meats that i am looking to enjoy this Fall. Campground is well maintained and very spacious. We own a 27.4' long Keystone trailer supplied our own fresh water for seven days. Creek is clean and great for filtering fresh drinking water if needed. Great open area for solar panel generator system. We plan on making more arrangements for next years adventures along Nestucca River region.
