★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We went there specifically for the pool and water spray area, the kids had lots of fun and really got to play a lot. There is a small concession stand at the pool area with pizza, hot dogs, chicken nuggets and cold non alcohol beverages. BRING the sun screen!!! All bags and coolers are checked so no contraband such as alcohol or glass bottles.
July 27 · Vernon BrownMy favorite place to go trail running :) thank you for maintaining your trails and having so much space for everyone!
June 09 · Brenna TatalovichAlways a good visit. VA state parks offer free admission/parking if you have a handicap placard. There is also a form online to request free access if you don’t have a placard handy. Otherwise they spot your blue card in the windshield and wave you right on in without issue. Wish other state parks did this!!
July 09 · Airlea EvaryOne of our favorite places to camp. Close to convenient ammenities for shopping in town. Campsites are large and private with areas of nice wooded coverage for shade. Plus loads of hiking and biking trails. There is a large pool with Waterpark that is a fun place to cool off. There are nice gravel areas with picnic tables and firepits.
