Pleasant Lake Campground Reviews
Love this place!!! We rent all 3 cabins for a week once a year (one year we went twice). My in-laws come too. We love the short walk to the water, the ability to fish, kayak, swim, take nature walks is awesome AND the playground is literally positioned in the back yard of the cabins. The bathrooms are right next to the park. Taking a break from the busy demands of life but still having the convenience of WiFi and camp store is awesome! The camp store has cans of soda, s’mores ingredients, liter fluid, wood, ice, bubbles, flashlights, first-aid items, batteries, and so much more. The owners are a super friendly husband and wife and their adult son is always so hospitable and helpful! The wife has many beautiful gardens! They also have chickens and roosters that the kids enjoy watching! If I had to give cons- they have had a bee problem for the past 2 years BUT they are carpenter bees… which males don’t sting and females will only stk g if provoked. Secondly, this year my 12 month old daughter and I suffered nasty spider bites. But we ARE in the woods… this to some level is to be expected.
Jun 02, 2024 · Sarah FoxThe staff is very accommodating and helped make sure we had the environment around us we were looking for. There were many kids, and our girls had a blast during their crafts and water balloon event. It made the weekend go great! Our campsite was priced well, and we had everything we needed. A slight drawback was the bathrooms, but the blame mainly falls on the campers that don't show courtesy in how they use it. We do highly recommend this as a family getaway that is not too far off the beaten path.
Jun 29, 2022 · Joshua RamsdellAlways a great time at Pleasant Lake. Beautiful area, small lake so you don't need to worry about boat traffic, very friendly people, great fishing, kayaking, etc. Have stayed in tents mostly but also used a cabin in the past. We made the best of it depsite the rain. They have a little something for everyone. We will definitely be returning!
Aug 08, 2023 · ErinI have never felt so welcomed to a campground in my life! First time here and it was a blast. Owners are super nice and helpful with anything and I mean anything. We stayed in cabin 2 July 5th through the 7th. They are quaint but homey. Comes with dorm fridge heater if the nights get cold. You have a picnic table and a nice fire pit. Restrooms just behind cabins and small playground for the kiddos. Showers are O.K. The lake was amazing. Friday was bingo super fun! Fireworks on Saturday. Every person was super friendly, didn't even know half the campers, but they all would say hi and chat. Love love loved it. The owners are very interactive and helpful. If we had a slight issue they were right on it Alvin&Don. I would recommend this place 1000%. Will be added more pics of this wonderful campground. This was the first of many more visits 🤗
Jul 08, 2024 · Ericka VarreMy family and i stayed here for a week in our tent, at first everything was fine, but then we had to buy our own cleaning supplies to clean the showers with because of low maintenance. The guy at the office accused my youngest sister of walking through people's campgrounds and claimed she admitted to it then when she talked to him he told her he didnt, no handicap access at all! The only nice thing my family and i have to say about this place is the people who keep their campers and rvs here are very nice.
