Pioneer Village RV Park Reviews
Camped in my rooftop tent at site 22. With no hookups it was only $15 a night. The bathhouse and showers were very clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely one of the best places I’ve stayed it quite some time. I would highly recommend!
Apr 08, 2025 · Kate KolbieWe did not care for this campground and will not return. First, they are obsessed with preventing “speeding”. There are many speed bumps (7-8??) on the main road which are difficult to navigate in the RV when pulling a car. There was a sign stating “Speeders will be shot and buried!”Our campsite was very small with a tree beside the parking lane that prevented us from extending the awning. The picnic table was set on a hillside and was so unlevel that a cup could barely stand. About 4 feet from the picnic table was the sewer connection for the neighbor. Because of all of this, we could not use the table. When we disconnected the next morning, we found that the cap ring to the sewer drain was not properly attached and fell off during the disconnect, spilling sewage. As a final inconvenience, we found that there was no trash dumpster on the way out. We had to carry our garbage to the gas station to get rid of it.The whole experience felt unwelcoming and inconvenient. We will not recommend this campground.
May 17, 2025 · Michael HalliseyA very nice campground, with great service! A nice convenient place to stop, right off I-81 (with a Love's gas station just north). We wished we could stay longer than one night to relax, hike the trails, see the creek, and have a campfire. Sites are spacious and well lined up. A nice bathhouse with wheelchair accessibility. A long, hilly driveway, just drive slow. We couldn't make a reservation online, but they were very responsive, helpful, and friendly on the phone. They even accommodated us when, last minute, our truck broke down, and we had to delay our arrival by one day, with no additional fee. Highly recommend! ❤️
Nov 03, 2024 · Raquelli GanelWe love staying at this quiet RV Park because it's so convenient off the highway. It's just gotten a little expensive. But the scenery is fantastic!
Apr 09, 2025 · Laura OGreat price in a very picturesque area. Unfortunately, it's not a very peaceful park. Didn't read or see any rules about quiet hours, and there should be. Had three different campers running their diesel truck engines between 5 to 7 am as they prepared to go to work or whatever; their RVs are still here. One very inconsiderate, selfish jackals just let his dually diesel idle for 25 minutes at 6am for no apparent reason other than to warm up his truck! With no quiet hours posted, there's not much one can do to get some sleep in the early morning. The place is also close to highway, so road noise was prevalent throughout the night.Restroom and showers aren't that great, 3 out of 5 stars, at best. Dated, one of only two toilets available worked, and showers are cramped.Too bad because the location is beautiful, it's very nice along the river, and the hiking trail along the ridge has some beautiful views. The area is really devoid of light pollution, so it's a great place for star gazing ...unless you're near one of those RVers who just has to have their RV lit up like a Christmas tree all night (having and enforcing some rules here would be nice).
