Pine Haven Campground Reviews
The cabin was full price even though it was off-season. We could've stayed at a hotel right on the beach at these prices. Our air conditioning was not working nor could they repair it during our stay. The key to our cabin did not work. It stayed unlocked most of the weekend. We had to keep our valuables locked in the car. There were no golf carts to be rented for the weekend, although we were assured there would be. They promised us a lot but actually delivered very little. There was rarely anyone to talk to about our concerns. They wasted no time cashing our check. Clearly, this place is only interested in the money! Not at all concerned about the comfort & and well-being of their guests. We will definitely not be back!
May 15, 2025 · Harry BottinoThe women at the front store was beyond nasty. We were renting a golf cart and she was so rude, she couldn’t be bothered. The cabin key did not work we had to go back and forth three times to get a new key because they do not answer the phone. They told us they could not put us in the front because they were fully booked, the whole time we were there , there was 10 or 15 cabins that were not rented in the area we wanted. No activities, the store closed very early, no food just snacks. The cabin wasn’t too clean and didn’t look like the sheets were changed. For the price I would never come back here again.
Jun 10, 2025 · Kerri WeismanNice campground down by the shore. Very big property that goes deep into the woods with a big lake and a 2nd lake with a beach and big play area
Jun 11, 2025 · HRHIIII'm not sure how to properly articulate just how much I love this environment and our accommodations, but I will say that this is by far the best bang for your buck. The people are incredibly friendly and Incredibly informative. Every single person that works here acts as a liaison for the Campground and every person that I have spoken with that utilizes this Campground in one way or another has had only nothing but positive things to say. We Are so pleasantly surprised, we didn't know what to expect. What I will say, the hospitality, the amenities, the environment as a whole is nothing short of perfect. I would recommend this campground to anyone that is looking to visit the area
Aug 01, 2024 · Mark PongraczOur cabin was completely filthy. When we checked in, there was a nasty smell so we contacted the manager. Someone came from maintenance and told us one of us must have bumped the propane oven. We aired the cabin out and even purchased Lysol, but the smell remained, and finally toward the evening of our second day someone looked under one of the beds and found a huge pile of feces. The picture doesn’t do it justice. That evening, our toilet also started to leak. Although the night manager did have someone come and clean underneath the bed, our calls to the front desk remain unanswered still. The linens they provide are stained and old. The information you get when you check in tells you to leave your cabin clean and to sweep and clean the floors & counters too. I guess this means THEY don’t clean the cabins in between tenants, and for $270+ per evening guests shouldn’t have to do that Please save your $$$$ and go somewhere cleaner and safer. This campground is largely filled with permanent campers who are also unfriendly. The pictures online promote a lively and energetic place, but this place is tired and sus at best.
