Pine Acres Family Camping Resort Reviews
Great campground however, they need more weekday activities and they need to control the speeders. People FLY down the road past sites 38, 35, 33 etc. Especially at night. There is no speed limit listed on a big sign. On a more positive note...the pool is good and the small playground is good for small kids....pond was closed for 3 days for treatment.
Jun 18, 2025 · a QWe just stayed here weekend of 6/4/25. It was my first time and my wife's first time back since her family had a seasonal when she was a kid.We really enjoyed it. The grounds were well maintained, bathrooms were updated and super clean, and staff was very helpful and friendly. We stayed in the R loop. Sites were well maintained (a little bit of poison ivy along the edges), level, and roomy. The pool was a good size and very clean, and there is a fun splash pad on the side. The pond is a good size and great for canoes / kayaks, and their little beach area was nice and clean with a couple benches. Nice basketball and tennis court, there was a good playground, and a little wiffle ball field.drawbacks that prevent a 5 star: they charge for things that maybe should be included. We had to pay an extra fee for our child, and he's 6. That seems a little greedy to me and not indicative of a "family" campground. They also have a small mini golf course on site but it's $9 per person, that access should be part of the nightly. They also charge for wi-fi, which again, should be included in the nightly fee.Overall we enjoyed it and will likely be back.
Jun 09, 2025 · Jeff RuscittiAmazing experience for the whole family. The grounds are beautiful and clean and it is a peaceful quiet atmosphere. They are strict about the speed limits so it felt very safe for the kids to ride their bikes around. The staff is what really sets it apart- there are a lot of young enthusiastic staff members who are great with the kids, always friendly, and always willing to help. You can tell that they are treated well here, they all seem very happy. We stayed in one of the cabins- it would be great if there was an option for blackout curtains/shades for the upper windows facing the loft so the kids don't wake up with the sunrise but I guess that's part of a campground! A couple things to note: Make sure you bring pillows (they're not provided in the cabin). TMobile doesn't work anywhere on the grounds, Verizon and other carriers seem to work better. Overall we had a great experience and have already booked for next year!
Jul 17, 2024 · Britt SolarI just spent a week at the campground and had a great time. We were a large group, taking up two cabins and three waterfront sites. Mine site was 83. The camp ground is beautiful. They really do an amazing job keeping the grounds clean. There was a walkway behind our site along the lake that was lit so beautifully at night. Lot of attention to detail. The laundry facilities were clean. We rented golf carts to cruise around they were great. Last year they were new and had some electronic gps that would slow you down In specific areas. This year that was not the case. We brought our own kayaks and fished daily on the lake. We would go to the ice cream store/cafe daily. The store seems to be run by kids. It didn’t seem like there was anyone older than 18 in the store but they all worked hard and were respectful. My only dislike would be (this has nothing to do with the park) there’s nothing around the area to do. The town had very little unless you wanted to drive about an hour. This was my second time staying at pine acres. We stay for 6 nights watch time I think the pricing is on par for the amenities. We will be back.
Aug 24, 2024 · Robert LepreVery expensive stay for small sites right on top of people. “Quiet hours” are clearly not enforced as there will be teenagers screaming at 11:30 at night which of course is the parents fault but why am I seeing reviews of other people getting yelled at over golf carts and these noise disturbances are never addressed? Everything activity wise (hot tub, rec room, mini golf) was closed down, alcohol quickly sold out of stock (why such a short stock on a WEEKEND?) the younger teenagers working were the only ones with decent customer service, all the older employee were rude and snappy for nothing. Bathrooms were well kept which I can appreciate
