Location and Accessibility
Pine Acres Blue Lake Resort is conveniently situated at 5328 Blue Lakes Rd, Upper Lake, CA 95485, USA. This location places it in the heart of Lake County, a region of Northern California celebrated for its beautiful lakes, vineyards, and rolling hills. For many Californians, particularly those residing in the Bay Area, Sacramento, or even further north, reaching the resort involves a scenic drive through diverse landscapes, typically along well-maintained state highways.
Upper Lake is a small, charming community that serves as a gateway to the Blue Lakes area, which is somewhat distinct from the much larger Clear Lake nearby. This allows the resort to offer a sense of peaceful seclusion while remaining accessible. The journey to Blue Lake Road itself is part of the experience, winding through verdant countryside. While the resort feels like a true escape, its accessibility from major California population centers makes it a practical choice for weekend getaways or longer holidays without the need for extensive travel. It’s always advisable to check current road conditions, especially if traveling during less predictable seasons, though generally, the routes to this part of Lake County are reliable.
The beauty of this location lies in its ability to offer a tranquil lakeside experience that feels worlds away from urban life, yet remains within a reasonable driving distance for a significant portion of California’s population, making it an ideal local escape.

Pine Acres Blue Lake Resort Reviews
We just went for the day. Shade or sun, nice little beach, restrooms, grass area, picnic tables...
Jun 26, 2025 · Maya StuartI loved it, plus great fishing spot. Great houses :)
Jun 21, 2025 · Microbe societyWe had a great time camping here. The space we got had a great view of blue lakes. Waking up in the morning it is so peaceful with only the sounds of birds. I was very impressed with the welcome we received from Tamara what a novice lady!! They have a little market if you need condiments, candy, dairy products, and they even have meat. I highly recommend this place. If you have any guests coming to visit for the day keep in mind there is an $18 per person day fee ;). I’m not rating the rooms as I wasn’t in any of them but they looked cozy on the outside. I can say a few campers we spoke to had family members staying in them and were very happy with the accommodations and ease when having babies and young children.
Sep 27, 2023 · ambrosiathomsonWe had a family reunion here this last weekend and what a fabulous spot for a reunion. The were apartments for our elders, plenty of RV spaces and campsites for those with no RV. They even had day use for the people who stayed close by with a wonderful club house with a new deck …and of course Blue Lake. What a beautiful little lake. It was the perfect accommodations for our reunion of 214 people, and we definitely hope to be back in a few years. The people who run the resort are super nice and very accommodating. Very personable. It was an all around good time and great place to be
Jun 27, 2023 · Lisa MartinezExtremely rude manager and staff. Did not open on time, yelled at us for looking to see if we could launch a boat. Expected us to pay $18.00 for a 3 year old child. Will never give them our business again.
