- Utility Hookups: RV sites are equipped with essential hookups, including 30 and 50 amp electric service, water, and sewer connections. Some sites may offer electric and water only, with no-hookup options for tent campers also available.
- Restroom Facilities: Bathhouses with restrooms and hot showers are available for guest use.
- Sanitary Dump Station: A dump station is provided for RV waste disposal.

Pilgrim's Campground presents a mixed set of features and highlights, as reflected in various customer reviews. It's important to consider both the positive and negative feedback to form a comprehensive understanding.
- Swimming Pool: A "sparkling pool" is available, providing a refreshing amenity for guests, particularly during warm Wisconsin summers. Reviews indicate it is generally kept "very clean."
- Playground: A playground is on-site, offering activities for children and making the campground appealing to families.
- Quiet Environment (Mixed Reviews): Some reviews highlight the campground as "very peaceful and well kept," and "very quiet, very clean." However, other feedback contradicts this, stating it is "loud all night." This suggests that the experience may vary by site location within the park or by the behavior of other campers.
- Cleanliness: Many positive reviews commend the cleanliness of the grounds, bathrooms, and showers, contributing to a pleasant stay.
- Full-Time RV Park Segment: The campground appears to have a significant number of "permanent sites" or "full-time RV park" residents, which can create a different atmosphere compared to purely transient campgrounds. Some reviews note the presence of "old campers that need to be removed" in the permanent sections.
- Site Variety and Condition: The campground offers "large pull thru style sites" and newly opened rows of back-in sites with full hookups. While some sites are described as having "freshly mowed grass" and being "very roomy," others report "horribly small" sites or issues with leveling.
- Customer Service & Management (Highly Mixed Reviews): This is a major point of contention. Some reviews praise "very friendly and helpful" owners/managers and "super friendly staff." Conversely, other reviews describe encounters with "very rude and short" staff, "poor customer service," "lack of communication," "disregard for customer safety," and a "disrespectful attitude," citing specific incidents of being interrupted by mowing during dinner or unhelpful responses to site issues.
- Pet-Friendly: The property is pet-friendly, accommodating those traveling with their animal companions.
- Open Space: The campground offers "open space" for activities, in addition to dedicated sites.

Pilgrim's Campground in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, offers a particular type of camping experience that may appeal to some local residents, while potentially being less suitable for others, based on the mixed public feedback. Its suitability largely depends on individual priorities for a camping trip. For those seeking a campground with amenities such as a swimming pool and playground, and who appreciate a generally clean environment with full utility hookups for their RV or tent, Pilgrim's Campground presents these features. The presence of both daily/weekly and seasonal sites also offers flexibility for different lengths of stay, catering to both transient campers and those looking for a longer-term seasonal spot in the area.
However, it is crucial for prospective campers to be aware of the significant concerns raised by some past visitors regarding customer service, communication, and the condition of some areas, particularly concerning the interaction with management and maintenance activities. While some reviews praise friendly staff and a quiet atmosphere, others describe a very different experience. Therefore, for Wisconsin locals considering Pilgrim's Campground, it is advisable to manage expectations, perhaps inquire directly about specific site conditions and any planned maintenance during your stay, and consider the varying accounts of customer service. If the core amenities and the general location near Fort Atkinson's conveniences are your primary drivers, and you are prepared for the possibility of a less-than-perfect service interaction as reported by some, then Pilgrim's Campground could still be a viable option for your next Wisconsin camping trip.

Pilgrim's Campground Reviews
I did not get a chance to visit, the woman that answers the phone was very rude and short, happy for her having such a busy season, I wanted a week rate, she said she was full till september(23), I asked for a dailey rate, she said "$40." I said "really", she said I was rude and insinuated "I was not on the rich end of the stick. WOW. I did not know that "rich" was a requirement.
Aug 05, 2023 · Maggie DorauCampground is appears to be a full time RV park alongside a campground. Had a negative experience with the owner. While eating dinner and subsequently enjoying time with a visiting friend, we were interrupted by a person who later informed us he was the owner. Without warning, he circled our campsite with his lawn mower. Mowing included the road (rocks) and multiple areas lacking in grass but dirt and creating a dust storm/asthmatic nightmare. So much dust had settled on my phone that I was able to write my name across the screen. Dinner was a bust as dust settled on our food and had to be tossed. My husband politely advised the person mowing of the issue, asking if he was realized he was creating a disturbance. He informed my husband that he was the owner ànd he had to get it done.I was informed by the person that checked us in a few days prior (owner's wife?) that assistance was only a phone call away, I called the number a couple times. Messages left requesting assistance for a noise disturbance, dust storm creating a health concern and help went unanswered.Person mowing/owner later came by to say he was sorry but he had a job to do. He said that 'this little bit of peace and tranquility we were enjoying required maintaining" and that it was "too bad" we were there. Wait. WHAT?? Sorry you have a paying customer? We were not informed that this disturbing maintenance would be performed during our visit. Mowing could easily have been done after our check-out happening the very next morning. Being the only camper in that section would have simplified mowing and avoided a disturbance. Our safety and we'll being was not a consideration.Poor customer service, lack of communication, disregard for customer safety, disrespectful attitude and unwillingness to consider customer's needs is why I am giving this campground a single star rating. Jul 28, 2022 · D WardGreat friendly staff and seasonal campers, meet a lot of great people, had a blast playing “A minute to win it”, very organized and LOVE my prize. Our camp site was very clean and quiet close to port a potty. loved seeing family enjoying themselves. The pool was cool and clean. Only gave it a 4 because the shower stall I first went in did not work.
Jul 08, 2019 · Melanie FregeauI love that this is family run. Very friendly people. No strick regulations on when to arrive or leave. Nice big E/W sites.
Jul 09, 2024 · C ALooks to be a mainly seasonal Park with ample short term parking and tent sites as well. I have old school high standards for awesome parks and little tolerance for communist nonsense. This is a great park and a great place to spend your time and money. I camp while traveling for work and this is my new go to spot in the Madison area.
