★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Good place to camp when visiting Silver Creek area. Not great for just hanging at camp during the day. Just a little too much road noise. It is nice and quiet at night. Good Basecamp w electric (50amp), water & picnic table at the site. There is dump station and restrooms.Dog friendly.
June 08 · Pam RossWe chose this campground for its proximity to Craters of the Moon National Monument, while still having RV hook ups. Our site was so level that we didn’t need to do anything to set up! You are kind of close to your neighbors, but it was ok as the folks next to us were considerate. There is unsecured WiFi provided, which worked most of the time. The store across the highway had supplies if you needed them. Many people come here for the fishing at Silver Creek. We hiked at Silver Creek Preserve, but did not fish. Some spots had shade, but others did not have much shade. The bathroom was very clean. The sheep across the dirt road added ambience, but also odor sometimes.
June 07 · Becky WSmall, clean RV park, with only about 16 spots and about 5 of them are pull-throughs. Our spot was 100’ long and all of the others are no less than 50’ long. They have unsecured WiFi available. Which is great because I only had 1 bar on my Verizon phone. We came to fish on Silver Creek, so I can’t say anything about the rest of the area. The preserve was our favorite spot to fish. But no dogs are allowed at the preserve.
September 20 · Cecilia GormanOne of the most peaceful campgrounds we have ever stayed in. The shared RV dump is a minor inconvenience. I also wish the store was open a little later, but the experience with just a dozen or so sites next to the farms is idyllic. Very clean and well maintained. Would totally stay here again and I am trying to think of a reason to come here to fish as we were just passing through this time.
July 09 · Jacob MWe liked that it was spacious with grass and a view of the sheep on the farm, plus it was the only place to stay for miles. What we didn't like was no cable, no Wi-Fi and only one bathroom with shower.
