Pete's Lake And Campground has garnered positive feedback from many visitors who have found it to be a delightful place for outdoor recreation. One happy customer enthusiastically shared, "Despite the rain we had a great time fishing. All 3 of my children caught fish. The lake is clean and the area around the lake is in great shape. Thanks so much." This highlights the core appeal of the campground: a productive and enjoyable fishing experience for all ages, set against a backdrop of well-kept natural beauty. The emphasis on a clean lake and surrounding area suggests a commitment to providing a pleasant and inviting atmosphere for guests.
While the primary allure is its fishing opportunities, it's important for prospective visitors to note that, like any local business, there can be operational considerations. However, such instances, while frustrating, often serve as learning points for businesses. The overall spirit of Pete's Lake And Campground aims to offer a direct, no-frills outdoor experience focused on its namesake lake and the quiet enjoyment of West Virginia’s natural landscape. Sep 12, 2019 · Kristin CooperI called before I showed up at the pond. I left a message on their voicemail saying I was going to be driving an hour and a half to get there with my two boys. He called me back, didn't get me, but left a message on my voicemail. He said that he will be open all weekend every night even Sunday until 10 p.m. I showed up at 6 p.m. on Sunday nobody was there. There's a sign that says absolutely no fishing when no one is there. What a poor way to run a business. I will never attempt to go there again.
Aug 06, 2018 · Kara WilliamsPeaceful place. My family and I spent the weekend here fishing and playing in the creek daylight to dark. The owners were very kind and helpful. We hope to return very soon! Each campsite has full hookups (water, sewer, electric) for campers.
