★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Went hiking here and really enjoyed it! The lake and fishing was beautiful and quiet. The hiking trail was very wide, with rolling hills and overall mild or moderate incline. Just a couple spots of some looser rock. The thing to be aware of is there is really no shade on this trail. There are also no restrooms at the trail head that I’m aware of.
July 28 · Kathryn FriedlundScenic little lake. It was emptied and dredged a couple of years ago and it has new aluminum docks that are great for fishing. There’s also nice picnic areas. I would only do catch and release because the mercury content is too high. There’s a sign by the restrooms about it. Nice boat ramp.
January 02 · Been2 All50Great place to go boating for recreation, and the scenery is amazing. The only thing I dislike is the distance to any picnic area, and that some people were swimming right in front of the dock, while boats were passing through, non-motorized and motorized, with the parents not seeming to care. I almost saw them get hit by a car and a boat three times, so the people aren't exactly the most courteous.
September 08 · Robin T.Easy to get to. Beautiful scenery. Well maintained parking lot, boat ramp. Clean restrooms. Handicap parking. Walking trails around the lake. Several very nice picnic areas with tables.
January 05 · Edward PedleyVery beautiful lake. The water does have a lot of growth, so fishing isn't easy unless you're I'm the middle of the lake. It's a very quiet area. The road to get there is a tad scary. There are plenty of bathrooms, tables to have lunch, a boat ramp, and plenty of parking. We brought our kayaks and had a wonderful time. Definitely worth checking out.
