Pearch Creek Campground Reviews
We stayed in the summer of 2017. It was pretty for sure, the forest service stoves were incredible. But when we got there a camper asked us for $ almost immediately, another for a ride to town (which my husband gave him and was threatened when he got there by some other folks hanging out), at another site there was a poor toddler running around in nothing but a dirty diaper all weekend getting yelled at constantly. The host was nice, but I never felt at ease with him. Another camp host up the way remarked that it was brave of us to stay there, so it seemed to have a reputation already. We were not welcome, so wouldn't be back in respect of the place & it's campers.
Nov 20, 2019 · Laura BLoved it quiet all you can hear at night is the water and the crikets, nice shade and cool night. Sites are not close together nice and clean, fire pit,and most have own water faucet and even in oven to cook over. The host super nice I didn't get the ladys name but her and her companion Miguel are very nice and helpful i hope to go back again sins we got evacuated due to wild fire. Sep 2020
Sep 09, 2020 · Eve eveSecluded, quiet, peaceful, serene.. A very nice campground. We went there for two nights and only one other camper was there. We stayed in site #10, which was not far away from the other sites like it was shown on the map, in fact #10 is right in the middle of the campground. Still very nice and quiet. Ann and Mike the camp hosts were very nice and hospitable. Anything you need they are right there to help. Be aware there is no internet. All services do not work. We had to travel to the local tribal clinic and use their WiFi to make a call. Still worth it in the end.
Jun 10, 2021 · Jennifer NewtonGiving it three stars because of the beauty, but unfortunately as of the time of posting this the campground is closed. The hosts left and the gates are locked. I would recommend camping at Dolan's Bar by the Klamath River, maybe just 1/4 of a mile further north. There is a bathroom there but no other amenities that Pearch Creek provides. I made a reservation online because it's still available on Recreation.gov so I will be calling them so they will unlist it. It's beautiful there so hopefully it will reopen in the near future.
