★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Just had a beautiful couple of days camping with the grandkids at the rustic group site and it was beautiful! We were able to fit a 10x20 canopy / tent, a 3 room tent and a 4 man tent and park a truck and SUV with plenty of room to spare! With our 2 dogs who love to bark at everything, being in the back area away from everyone was perfect. The owners were very nice and accommodating. You can see all of the hard work that they have put and Continue to put in to the park to make it nice and relaxing. We are definitely planning to return! Thank you Avery and Natalie for a wonderful stay!!!
July 24 · Heaven VincentWe enjoyed our stay here, and will definitely be back. The campground is on the smaller side which makes it feel a bit more rustic, but also with the luxury of water/electric/sewer hookup. Our site (and a lot of the others) have trees which provided great shade for our dogs. The pool is a good size and very clean! We really enjoyed BeeBee beach down the road at the recommendation of the owners. It was never too busy and the swimming area was great. The owners are very nice and helpful! I’d definitely recommend this little hidden gem- we’re looking forward to our next stay.
July 21 · BreannaHidden Gem Brought Back to Life!Simply blown away by this newly revived campground, and I can’t say enough good things! Under new ownership, this once-forgotten spot has been completely transformed into a warm, welcoming, and fun-filled retreat for families and campers of all kinds. The new owners are some of the hardest-working, kindest people you’ll ever meet — you can tell this isn’t just a business for them, it’s a dream come true. Their love and dedication to bringing this old campground back to life is evident in every detail. The community of campers seem friendly, respectful, and fun. You will feel like you’re a part of something special. Kids will have an absolute blast, especially in the beautiful, refreshing pool on those hot summer days. The game room is a hit too — packed with charm, and just enough to keep everyone entertained on a rainy afternoon. It even has a little store with necessities and treats! The entire campground looks safe, clean, and full of positive energy.I’m so impressed by how much love has been poured into this place. It’s truly a labor of love, and it shows. I cannot wait to take a trip down memory lane and visit this childhood memory of mine! Highly, highly recommend!
July 17 · Heidi PatersonWe ended up staying here last minute after all the large camper sites at the State Campground were filled. They were great about accommodating us last minute and late. The sites are very spacious and well maintained. There was a picnic table available at each site. The pool was nice and clean, the kids enjoyed it a lot! The bathrooms and showers were clean. We definitely put this campground on our "return to list!"
July 13 · Ashley ClementsThere is not one feature I could point to exactly, but this campground has a great vintage vibe. The owners are so nice, and you almost want to stay here just to hang out with them. The pool is huge, clean, and refreshing. The lots are smaller, but they have grass and trees which is a nice change from the gravel and concrete at state parks. We only stayed for one night, but we look forward to seeing how the campground grows and progresses. It sounds like the owners have some fun plans for their next phase of updating.
