★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Very nice forest service campground. Level spots spaced out so you’re not right on top of each other. Right at the Montana end of Beartooth Pass.
June 30 · Jeff BenjaminWe rolled in on our motorcycles late on a July day and found the last open spot. This is a great creek side campground at the base of Beartooth Pass. The host keeps the pit toilets immaculate, following COVID protocols. When we travel on our motos it’s so nice to have bear lockers. I sleep better!!
July 10 · Sherry JenningsNice primitive campgrounds outside of Yellowstone. The vault toilets are not too smelly but go earlier in the mornings around 7 and they are not bad at all and contain less flies. The host sells firewood for $5 a bundle which isn't bad. The campground is about a couple hours from the Yellowstone entrance but Beartooth highway has absolutely the most beautiful views from the top. Red Lodge is only about a 20 minute drive, I'd suggest checking out the local brewery there if you have time (great beer and food!). Overall, good campground and conveniently located off the highway, and no cell service.
June 15 · Betty JessupGreat camp site. Views galore and great facilities. We got a first come first serve site. There was plenty of space. $20 per night.
September 03 · Thomas ArmstrongBeautiful campground right on creek. Very quiet. Host was very nice and answered all questions. Pit toilets were clean. Definitely a return will be in order
