★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Todd (The Host) is the best! He's extremely accommodating, great communication, relaxed and understanding. Got us all setup in a beautiful spot and answered any questions that popped up.The RV Resort itself is wonderful as well. Located practically on South Lake Leelanau, the sunsets and sunrises are gorgeous, super easy boat access to go and cruise around a gorgeous lake, and full hookups (water and sewer) with 20amp + 50amp plugs. We had Site 11 which was perfectly level, easy to back in our 30' trailer, and had plenty of room to park out car, have a fire, and hangout outside of the trailer.Grass was always thick and freshly mowed, weeds kept to a minimum, and the neighbors are so friendly and kind.We have a dog and he absolutely loved it here! Lots of other quiet dogs around that he got to play with and he had a fun time staring at them through the trailer windows haha.Price is unbeatable in this area, for both day rate and seasonal. Especially in the summertime EVERYTHING is booked full from mid June to the end of July, Todd was able to take care of us on short notice and we heard the same from other campers as well. Truly a hidden Paradise here! ❤️10/10 Lovely place to be. So thankful to Todd, his family, and the neighbors here for making this a wonderful experience 🙌🏽
July 25 · Tristen SBeware: review your expectations. I guess it’s all about location. And timing. But $100 a night?? Because it certainly wasn’t a “resort”. The owner was nice, and stood on the boat launch to point at my site on the hill. And that’s the last I saw of any “service” all weekend. There was no room to turn my 26’ 5th wheel around. Had to back up the hill. Pathetically unlevel site (bring extra boards). Full hookup (bring a sewer extension). If you want access to the lake: bring a boat. Because there’s no access for campers otherwise. Don’t bother bringing wood for a fire: impossible to place the movable fire ring more than 3 feet from anything flammable (like the electrical tower or the neighbors camper.) All this for $100 per night. I seriously doubt the seasonal camper neighbors I rubbed shoulders with were forking out the same cash. It got three stars for location, location, location. I certainly won’t be back.
July 13 · Bryan BornWe were very disappointed with our stay at this campground. The site we reserved looked nothing like the photos—small, uneven, and narrow. We were confronted by a resident that we could not park our car in the lot in front of our site and that we needed to move immediately. The staff did not tell us anything other than point in the direction of our site. When we arrived at our site there was trash in our fire ring, over grown weeds and soft sand in which we were sinking our entire stay. Staff was hard to find and not very helpful when we voiced our concerns. Definitely not the relaxing outdoor experience we were hoping for. When we were walking by the marina we were confronted by someone from their back deck stating that the marina was closed, but would not discuss any other issues at that time. We were expecting a lot more for $100/ night.
July 20 · JoAnne FikeWe had a wonderful weekend for our anniversary trip! The owner was on site and so flexible with accommodating us. We had a 32 foot class A and a car trailer and it was perfect. Close enough to activities (e-bike/wineries/down town/fishtown). Lots to do! We will be coming back. The owner was quick to respond for all our questions!
September 09 · Nichole GarciaWe stayed for 2 weeks over the 4th of July holiday as a Working/Vacation while being able to connect to the campgrounds working Wi-Fi we were able to work comfortably during the day and being close enough to town to be able to enjoy TC and the Cherry Festival. This is a small campground with a store, restaurant, bar and marina so it quiet and you're left to entertain yourself. but again close to town, but far enough away from everything to enjoy being away.
