P. J. Hoffmaster Campground Reviews
First time camping here great campground. 1/4 walk to the beach, playground for the kiddos. Lots of trails to walk and explore. Amazing camp hosts had lots of activities for the kids and even had beach toys to borrow. Bathrooms where busy but pretty clean. They have plenty of showers never had to wait. All around great campground a little bummer there is no alcohol allowed but I get it.
May 30, 2025 · B ZThe dunes, beach, sunset and trails are amazing, and the showers were some of the nicest I’ve seen. The staff clearly cares about this place. But the campground is packed wall-to-wall with RVs. Out of a few hundred sites, I saw maybe five tents. It felt more like a trailer park than a campground—loud, cramped, and lit up with porch lights all night.I came to camp, not sleep in someone else’s backyard. I’m not asking for primitive—just a place with a shower, my car nearby, and space to actually feel like I’m in nature. Tent campers deserve better.
May 11, 2025 · Frankie ConcordBeen coming here most of my life. A campground my parents took me too is the one I now take my children to. We love it here and camp here as often as we can.
Jun 29, 2025 · Matthew WhitingGreat park, quiet, clean. Nice trail to beach. Tight campsites, right on road. Not a lot of space between sites.
