Oh! Kentucky Campground and RV Park Reviews
My husband and I have stayed at this campground on multiple occasions and at different times of the year. We have stayed at multiple campgrounds across the country and this is our campground of choice when we are in central Kentucky. The staff is always very nice and friendly, and they go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. It is evident every time we have stayed that the owner takes pride in the campground and makes frequent upgrades to the property. The campground is also conveniently located to I-75, but without the interstate noise. We have a 39 ft Class A motorhome with 3 slide outs and a tow vehicle, and each site we have stayed in has been plenty wide, long, and level. We always feel comfortable, safe, and like family at Oh Kentucky Campground.
Apr 05, 2025 · Dana FleenerWonderful overnight stay! The bed is extremely comfortable and the ac/heat works great. Very nice bathroom with toiletries. Cozy and fun way to glamp!
May 06, 2025 · Theresa KrolUpdate: changed my rating to 5 stars , due to the owner, Kevin, reaching out and giving a genuine apology, explaining that the issues we experienced were disturbing to him too and the steps he has taken to rectify the situation. I believe him. I believe he very much cares about his customers and wants his park to be a A1 experience. We will definitely return.Mixed feelings about this campground. Pro: When making our reservation, staff person very kindly gave us a roomy site at my request. (Previously we had stayed one night in a very narrow, tight site). Interaction with checkin was pleasant, friendly and efficient.Con: our neighbor site was extremely messy, cluttered and junky looking. There were many sites that appeared to be occupied by long term stays but they weren’t trashed like our neighbor. I am surprised management allows this mess. Our site was very roomy, but after a hard rain water pooled around the picnic table and the area where your camper door would be, leaving a muddy mess to walk through. Plus the ground area was covered with glass chips, like a whole case of bottles had been broke there at some point. There was active maintenance going on during our stay at other areas in the campground, with dirt and gravel being moved. It’s possible this site hadn’t received its much needed spring cleanup. We stayed for 3 nights. Probably could have asked to move to another site, but we really didn’t want to do the work.Location close to the interstate and historic Berea is excellent. Enjoyed exploring the artisan shops during our stay.
May 06, 2025 · K TaylorThis RV park is easily accessible from the highway, clean, and well kept. The dump station is in the front. The staff is very helpful and considerate. The camp store has everything you may have forgotten, the food items are priced very reasonably, and an entire section dedicated to RV replacement parts and fixtures. They also have propane and firewood.Site are level enough that we didnt need to pull out our levelers and because we only stayed the night, we didnt even unhook.I believe all the sites are pull through....so your marriage will stay intact and apologies for what was said while backing the camper will not be needed.😁😁😁The biggest downside is drainage after the rains. Our site in the front is still flooded after the rain has stopped, about an hour ago...so, bring a pair of water shoes or flip flops. It appears as if the back of campground is a bit higher, so plan accordingly. We were in site 22, which is also very close to the main road....but, the road noise was non existent after 8pm.This is a very clean and well organized RV park and the water will not stop us from returning.Power is clean and the water (taste and pressure) was good too. We had full hookups that are conveniently located next to the site, so we didnt have to pull out extention cords or a hundred feet of water hose. For some reason, I cannot add pics to this review, so they will be under the photos header.
Jun 08, 2025 · Rob WI know that i will never stay here, and I will advise others to not stay here. Their employee, Tasha, needs a huge lesson on customer service. She treated my daughter horrible over a parking situation. When my daughter wanted to speak to the owner, she said, "oh. You wish you hadn't done that." The only reason I didn't go there or call is because my daughter asked me not to. Evidently, Tasha runs the place, or else she would know to have better respect for their customers. You know, they don't have to stay there. That's just where they chose. She needs to know that she wouldn't have a job if it weren't for the customers. I personally feel at this point, she needs to be fired, but rest assure, I will make sure others know about this incident. It was much worse, I mean this witch told my daughter that she had four kids (Tasha) and since my daughter only had one, that it basically didn't matter that she needed a nap. What the heck!! She was just down right mean, hateful, and very unprofessional.
