Oceanfront Camping at Reach Knolls Reviews
Adored staying here! Had a beautiful week. Well thought out campground, clean and pleasant! The host and owner, Lori was wonderful and so warm and friendly. Electric at sites, no full hook ups, but clean and pleasant outhouse type restrooms through out the campground. The industrial, stainless steel sink at the office was really helpful for dishes. My personal favorite was the one of three showers that was open to the stars! No glaring lights shining on you throughout the campground. And then the ocean area and the sunsets! One of my favorite stays! If you are using this campground as a base for Acadia, it is about an hour trip more if a lot of traffic. We traveled there twice in the week. A little long, but you will appreciate this quiet campground. There is hiking in the area and Lori has a great map available which points them out as well as other things to do. We did the Quarry hike in Stonington and also the Harriman Trail.

Jun 14, 2024 · Daniel RhodesMy wife & I have traveled all over the country, we've seen the best and certainly the worst campgrounds. Lori & her staff do an excellent job making sure guests feel welcome, and the campground itself is clean and well kept! Great atmosphere, and an awesome location right on the Gulf of Maine. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend getawayThanks,Deke & Lauren
Jul 13, 2024 · Deke ChapinLori made an incredible experience from us Arizonians. My father and I traveled from Phoenix and I have no clue how we found this gem. Lori was up to the task to make us feel comfortable and made sure everything was further than perfect. Even had fresh lobsters with anything you will need. Would drive 3500 miles just to come back. Well maintained sites, nice outdoor (indoor too) showers and a beautiful ocean right out your back door. DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK!
Jul 24, 2024 · William WallaceRV and tenting camping sites. We'll kept grounds and bath houses. Beautiful Maine style beach area, great for rock hounding and sea glass hunting. Nice dock to swim out to, ah-mazing views. Very dog friendly too! Fabulous owners, Lori is very accommodating, super sweet and helpful. We had site 15, private with fire pit and picnic table. I Highly recommend this campground.
