As a part of the KOA franchise, Northampton / Springfield KOA Holiday frequently participates in and offers various promotions and special deals to enhance the value of a stay for campers from Massachusetts and beyond. These offers are typically seasonal, tied to specific booking criteria, or part of the KOA Rewards program. To get the most accurate and up-to-date information, it's always recommended to check their official website directly or call them. However, here are common types of offers you might find:
- KOA Rewards Program: This is perhaps the most consistent "promotion." KOA Rewards holders receive a 10% discount on daily registration rates at all KOA campgrounds, earn points towards future camping, and can participate in exclusive events like the KOA Rewards Weekend (where KOA Rewards campers often get a free night).
- Seasonal Discounts: Look for reduced rates during shoulder seasons (spring and fall) or for weekday stays when the campground might be less crowded.
- Extended Stay Deals: Often, discounts are available for booking longer periods, such as a week or more, providing greater value for extended vacations.
- Themed Weekend Specials: While the campground has many themed weekends with activities, some might include special pricing or packages for participation. For example, specific events like the "Steam Ship Roast" or "Steak & Lobster Fest" may require advance reservations and have associated costs.
- First Responder/Military Discounts: Many KOAs offer discounts for active duty and retired military personnel, as well as first responders, though this should be confirmed directly with the campground.
Always verify the terms and conditions of any promotion, as they often have blackout dates (especially during peak holiday weekends like the 4th of July or Labor Day) and cannot be combined with other discounts. Checking the "Hot Deals" or "Events" section on their official KOA page is the best way to stay informed about current offerings.

Northampton / Springfield KOA Holiday Reviews
The people who run it are amazing. Great service. Lots to do at the park. Sites are big and comfortable. Beautiful stream in the park. It rained a lot during our 4 day stay. Very minimal standing water.
Jun 10, 2025 · Barbara SnyderGreat Maiden Voyage Spot!We took a short trip from Connecticut for our maiden voyage with our new camper and were very impressed with our stay at the Northampton/Springfield KOA. Our pull-through site included a pet pen, grill, table, and chairs—everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The campground was clean and well maintained, and the staff was friendly. While we were hoping the camp store offered a bit more in terms of supplies, it didn’t take away from the overall great experience. We definitely recommend adding this KOA to your travel list!
May 13, 2025 · Beverly LowdenMy cousin and I had a 2 night stay here, to check out the grounds so we can take our granddaughters ages 3, 4, 5, and 8 camping close to home, apprehensive do to the mix reviews. Pleasant staff, from. Check in to wood delivery, and questions answered. Still expanding. Sites are good size. Will be visiting again with the granddaughters
May 29, 2025 · Rose StrongI debated between 3 stars and 4 stars for this campground. I've been to a few better kOAs and quite a few worse. I granted the 4th star based on how well run and managed the place is.It started when we made our reservation back in December of 2024. Within a few hours I got a call back and we had our reservation in place. Excellent Customer service. This was our first time staying longer than 5 days at any campground. This 9 day stay was starting in the memorial day weekend, so I made my reservation early. In fact I was a little worried because we spent the Friday of the long weekend at a campground near Buffalo NY and arrived here on Saturday where the party had already started.Check in was quick and easy along with being friendly. Our site, was perfectly level and really clean. The place was already packed for the holiday weekend. 2 years ago we stayed at a KOA near Washington DC on this holiday weekend. While that camground was really nice it was overrun by inconsiderate guests who aren't regular campgrounds. This place was crowded, but we still had a great time with little to worry about. There is about 10 times the normal amount of dogs in the campground this week and for the first time we are one of them. There is a national agility championship going on and many are staying here. By nature of the event these dogs are really well trained and having all of these dogs here hasn't been an issue.I mentioned our spot was perfect and easy to get hooked up. Its close to the office/store, the pool and bathhouses. IT is the beginning of the season and the pool is cold! But it is clean and super cared for. Bathrooms are important to me as we have a pop up. It has a shower, but with my mobility impairments showering in the camper isn't easy. This place has 4 bathrooms near us and one is labeled for handicap access. All of the bathrooms are clean, stocked, and in good condition. Because of the dirst roads the bathroom floors get dirty/muddy during the day, but they clean them twice a day it looks like. Wear Shower shoes. 3 of the bathrooms have plenty of shelfs so you don't have to put your stuff on the floor. Oddly, the 4th bathroom , the handicappped one doesn't have shelfs but I made do. What it does have is a tub, grab bars, and a shower head that is as high as my 6'1 head. That is important to me as I have spinal fusion and find getting my head under shower heads that are at 5' very difficult. Plenty of hot water and it was well stocked. I am an early riser and was able to use this bathroom almost every day. On the first Saturday of the trip some lady was giving all 8 of her kids a bath at once, so I had to use one of the other. The office/store at first appears to be small, but there is a second room and everytime I needed something, I found it at a reasonable price. During our 9 day stay I walked down several times to get some ice cream treat and was greeted warmly each time.During the week we had a few clear nights and there was a pretty decent dark sky so we had a lot of stars to see and having a new moon helped. Also i am now using their wifi which was pretty good after the masses left!A minor negative point since I mentioned dark skies. The pool and kiddy pool are very nice and clean, but for some reason they put an EXCESSIVELY bright light shining on the kiddy pool at night. I'm sure it is for safety reasons, but jets heading to Boston Logan might mistake itfor a runway. Coming back to our camper from bathhouse is was blinding enough that I couldn't see the road unless I shielded my eyes. I would suggest a shroud around the light so they could keep the pool lit up and not have so much stray light. That really is my biggest complaint so I guess I am having a good time. The place was in a convienent location and we visited many historical sites when we weren't involved with agility stuff. IT was my wife and I , our daughter and family. (6) I would stay here again.
May 30, 2025 · Bill McCallWe pulled mid-afternoon and were greeted by friendly staff. They had a file of prepared maps, camper passes, etc for all incoming guests. Obviously a well run operation. We were given a guide who led us to our site. While the roads are gravel and a little rough in places it looks well maintained. The pool was wonderful with lots of happy guests. The mini golf definitely needs work, but it had many other well maintained amenities. Our site was as described, though not as level as I’d hoped. Still it was private and spacious. A great campground for any weary traveller!
