★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 114 (adults and kids) stayed in 2 cabins that shared a covered porch. This was the first time for all but 4 of us. Everyone had a great time. The staff was awesome. We will definitely be back. We played the gel blaster game, went through the lost maze, jumped on the bounce pillow, fished, played mini golf, rode the firetruck, tried out all 4 swimming pools and the water park. Loved their homemade ice cream. Great family getaway. The Hart, Ellis, and Frazier family.
July 11 · Larry HartWe visited this location during 4th of July weekend and even with intermittent rain, our stay was amazing. Our room was clean and comfortable, everything was working great and even with a neighbor it was extremely quiet. The water park and pools were fun and food prices were what you'd expect at a resort. My wife and I were big fans of the pool with the swim up bar. In the evening the kids enjoyed the arcade, basketball courts or many of the other activities. The staff was very friendly and quick to respond. I definitely recommend Jellystone North Texas and we'll be coming back soon.
July 06 · Will MaleanosThe room was nice but this weekend was a bust. Went in on a weekend vacation with my buddy in cabin 1 to bring the family here for a fun time and we weren't able to do much at all. The itinerary wouldn't load up when we were trying to plan activities around the weather. The hayride was shut down. Some kid that works there blew us off to make reservations to let the kids paintball. They wouldn't let us do the mini golf because of the rain Sunday morning. Spent over 2000 just to swim. I could have got my kids a day pass at the water park instead. Was not expecting this stay to go this way. Spent the whole day in the cabin sunday just because of possible rain in the forecast that day. Took the kids out Saturday night to roam the maze and the park made us go back to the cabin because it was after 10pm. For the business this place gets they really need to start offering compensation or refunds. I filed a complaint but they offered no compensation after expressing how cheated we felt for the money spent and lack of experience.
July 14 · William RainesI know my review probably won’t mean anything since they already got my money but thought I would share. We stayed the weekend here right off the bat I noticed how dirty our floors were in the cabin, my son’s feet were black. Then the other big thing was I guess they have this ride where they think it’s okay to spray water at anyone driving by, me and my son were headed to dinner off sight and I just got him out of his swimsuit and we were sprayed with a million water guns and had to go back home and change again. I wish there was at least one dairy free ice cream at the shop, also wish there was a way to get food on site there since trying to get food at pirates cove on a Saturday was a literal nightmare. I know in the cabin I can cook but I’m on vacation and wanted to enjoy it. I also encountered not one but two kinda rude workers. I waited in line for a golf cart for 15 minutes no big deal but I wasn’t handed my white wristband and didn’t know I was suppose to be wearing one, a park ranger stopped me and said you can’t drive the golf cart without the wrist band and I said I wasn’t given one he responded we hand everyone who is given a golf cart one you are required to get one before you can drive it. We were about to be at the activity barn for bingo and I said can I swing by the golf cart shack after bingo he said no you need your white wristband so I had to drive back wait in line for 15 minutes and have a kiddo sad about missing bingo. The other rude encounter was with a gentleman who was running the welcome shack we were packed up and ready to leave at 7:30 I asked him can we leave our cabin keys with you or is there a drop off box and he responded with you can’t wait till 8 to hand it to the front desk. Also, when I went to drop off my golf cart it was pouring rain I just asked a simple question if any staff could give me a ride back to my cabin so me and my son didn’t have to walk in the pouring rain and he laughed and said it’s not like you’re going to melt. So we had a decent time but this was a special mom/son vacation before he went back to school and some things just didn’t hit the mark for us.
