Nordic Pines Resort Campground Reviews
(PERMANENTLY CLOSED)Review from 2019: We've been camping here for decades. They have done a decent job of maintaining the property and the cost of camp sites is fair compared to what's available in the area. It's a family friendly campground with a play area for kids, which was updated a few years ago. The sites are large and can accommodate a decent set up. The campground is small enough that every site is a short walk to flush toilets and running water, but large enough that you don't feel like everyone is on top of you. However, I'm disappointed that they continue to overcharge for the showers. $1 per person per day is outrageous. I'd rather they increase the daily rate for camp sites than to insult me by charging for hot water.
May 24, 2025 · Louise MoonQuiet, small campground, super close to Devil's Lake. Bathrooms are small, but cleaned every day, and are better than the bathrooms you'll get in the state park! Great for tent camping. I wish they would impress upon campers as they check in that it is rude to make noise after 10pm. As I type this there are kids making a ton of noise a few sites down. Owners were super helpful when I made reservations. Will definitely stay here again.
Jul 22, 2018 · Morgaine HeithoffTLUSA Troop WI-1885 had a great time at Nordic Pines this weekend. Management very accommodating arranging for site with electric hook up for one of our campers at last minute, prices on ice, grocery needs very reasonable compared to other campgrounds. Very much appreciated the no alcohol policy and quiet hours. Despite beautiful weather and crowds at Devils Lake the campgrounds were not overcrowded
Jul 29, 2018 · Rollyn MeyersMy fiancee and I and our dog visited Nordic Pines this summer on the fourth of July weekend and we just wanted to say that we LOVED this campground!!! It was so close to Devils Lake we simply crossed the road and we were there, we didnt have to pay the parking at the lake. The bathrooms were so clean and the staff were very friendly-they let us borrow their wire grill to place on the fire pit so we could grill. we HIGHLY recommend this campground and will be back again for our next trip out!!
Aug 28, 2013 · Deanna ProngerVery nice, clean, quiet, and comfortable campground! A far better option than the over-booked and crowded state campgrounds in Devil's lake. This was a VERY short walk across the street (maybe 200 yards further than the Quartzite state campground in the park), and without the state parking sticker requirements/fees.
