Newburg Campground Reviews
Newbies to RVing but it's been great so far!Even have a store, BBQ and Ice Cream on site open weekends only.
Jun 11, 2024 · Chris KnaubAfter never owning a camper before we looked and purchased a camper in this campground. We just finished out our 6th season here and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Everyone for the most part is nice and the campground is very clean. This is our little home away from home!Update: this now our 12th season at Newburg and we still LOVE IT!
May 13, 2025 · J. G.Nice campground right down the road from Raystown Lake.
May 27, 2025 · Michael KThe new owners are a nightmare to work with. We wanted to sell our site as we don't go up there often enough. When we reached out to the new owners, they stated because our camper was older than 20 years we would have to do an off site sale. The contract that we had signed with the previous owner did not state anything like that, and they did not have a new contract for us to sign when they took over. After going back and forth a bit, we just accepted it, seeing as it wasn't worth fighting them over it and did what they asked. We have a shed and a 30 ft deck still on site that they want to give us $500.00 for. Really, try buying a shed or build a deck for $500.00. When we replied stating just that their response was "500.00 or get it off the property. It's nothing special and it's not new. Let me know." It has taken months for them to respond to us, always stating this or that as why they are delayed to getting back to us. If you are looking for a campground, do not go here! Also, beware if your camper is older than 20 years they will "force you to upgrade".
