★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Our stay at Julia’s Cottage was nothing short of beautiful, peaceful, and deeply healing. Nestled in the serene setting of Music Springs, the cottage offered the perfect atmosphere for rest and renewal. From the moment we arrived, I felt a sense of calm and welcome. One of the most meaningful parts of my visit was the Sunday morning “Java and Jesus” devotional hosted by the owner. It was a heartfelt and inclusive gathering that reflected the spirit of this place, one of love, kindness, and true hospitality. The owners welcomed us as if we were family, and it's clear that their warmth extends to all, regardless of background or beliefs.I’m incredibly thankful for this experience and the time we were able to spend there. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with soul, heart, and beauty, I wholeheartedly recommend Julia’s Cottage at Music Springs.
April 30 · Matthew BLove this place it was so peaceful the cottage was really nice and fully equipped. I will definitely go back for a weekend getaway.
May 08 · Eduardo AvalosUpdate: Still the best place in West Texas to relax and rest with the most peaceful vibe! Laid back and easy are words I'd use to describe our experience. We had a great campsite!....this was our 3rd On Earth Festival and it was wet but did not dampen to mood or atmosphere. Love Boha Tribe and the Maxsons ... Our 1st trip review: Can't even describe in words what this weekend meant to us. A perfect place to slow down and Be Still! The words that come to mind... Humble, Peaceful, and Joyous. What a refreshing and restful environment. Can't wait to come back and discover more about this area. The owners were so friendly, the attention to detail was so appreciated. They anticipated the needs of their guests before they even know they need it. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We stayed in Julia's Cottage, loved the cozy and comfortable space. We have already booked our next stay in 'HIPPIE CHICK'. ❤ The grounds are beautiful and functional. The grass is phenomenal, could have laid there forever. So much charm and creativity. I am forever changed. Thank you, Mike and Vickie!
June 02 · Lisa MeauxThis was the most wonderful spur of the moment trip to a peaceful, magical place! We slept in the schoolhouse (sleeps 2) and next door there’s a teepee that sleeps 2. There’s also a small cottage in the same area. The bathrooms are clean and cute and the outdoor shower is not bad at all!!! It’s a glamping dream! Three separate fire pit areas, an outdoor kitchen/serving area, games, walking trails. The hosts were so awesome!! Had no idea it was here and I lived right down the road back in 2005-2006! I’m sharing with all my friends and family. The grandkids came and visited us and they loved the tetherball! Us old folks had to teach them the tricks! ;) There’s another area with other camping experiences as well.
June 17 · Charley LouiseThis is the third time we have stayed at this location. This time was for our anniversary and we stayed in the Tipi. And we had a great time. They even left us a goodie tray with drinks and snacksWe would highly recommend staying here. The tent areas are great also.
